This was a highly sexual book. I really enjoyed how Violet and Adam met and the automatic connection they had with each other. If you like a lot of sexist a great storyline then this book is for you. And of course you can't have the good without the bad. Violet and Adam had their fair share of bad times. So this is not a totally happy book.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Adam is a billionaire partner in a law firm. Violet is a naive paralegal assisting Adam on a huge merger. After a run in after hours the pair have dinner and the attraction is instant. The plot is pretty flimsy filled with endless sexual escapades. It was a ok read but lacked substance.

This was a bit too close to fifty shades for me. I found the characters didn't have a lot of depth and I couldn't connect with them or feel anything for them.

3.5 stars. There was sizzling chemistry between the characters. The storyline is interesting but I was a bit lost at a few points as I felt the writing was a bit disjointed at times. Overall, an enjoyable read. I will be looking out for the second book as I would like to see where this couple is heading. I voluntarily received an arc of this book.

I liked that Vilet told him her fantasy and he wanted to act them out with her. I was very glad they resolved their conflict and wanted to stay together. Cant wait to read the next book in the series!!!

I was an ARC reviewer for this book. I was really drawn to the characters. A virgin with a sexual over imagination matches with a dominate commitment fobe. There is lots of hot sex and a real bond forming for the pair. You must read this book to see where it leads. I am moving on to the next phase of the story and can't wait to get started

Started out slow, but once Violet and Adam meet the story really begins to pick up. I liked the chemistry between Adam and Violet, especially as she feels she's not even close to being in his league, and while he's pretty insistent that he doesn't do relationships and love, there's something about her that continually draws him in.

A good one by EG Patrick. Violet get more than she bargained for when she starts a relationship with Adam. They have great chemistry but both need to get over past hurt. The book was well written but left me kind of hanging as it is the first of three books.

Good book I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book. It will keep you guessing until the end and this is a can`t put down type of that will have waiting for the second one to come right away! It is hot, steamy . Violet is shy, unassuming and Adam gives an alpha don, take charge kind of guy. Can they work together? No spoilers .

I love this book. It's hot and steamy and sensual and heartfelt all rolled into one. The characters are well developed and you ride right along with the plot routing for them all the way. When Violet first meets the very handsome and intimidating man Adam she finds herself drawn toward him. Adam feels the same way. But Adam doesn't do the love thing. Is there hope for the two of them or are there relationship doomed. This book was amazing. I was very entertained, a fantastic action and I loved every part of it. I can wait for the next book and I will definitely read more from this author. I can highly recommend it.

3.5 Stars. This romance was sex filled but I had a difficult time connecting to the characters. Violet the virgin paralegal and Adam the controlling, successful lawyer meet a bank merger. Its lust at first sight. The book was long and slow reading for me. Perhaps it pick up the pace in the second part.

the book had me excited to read it after i read the blurb and when it came time to read the actual book the experience left me a bit disappointed. I really thought that the story would have played out a bit more actively instead it left me wondering why the characters made a certain decision

One day she encounters Adam and a connection sparks to life between the two. At times their connection is strong and other times immature. The physical bond between them, is off the chart sexy hot!

I wanted to love it but I did enjoy it, it was a fast read and really steamy. I like an alpha male and that is what you get with Adam. He's rich, strong, and knows what he wants. Violet has been having fantasies for years and it seems she finally got her man. These two are good together and he brings Violet out of her shell of being home and not doing a lot. This one does end in a cliff hanger.

This is a new author to me and I definitely recommend this book. The story is fun and sexy. Told very well and I didn't skip pages. Adam and Violet build up was fun to read but when they got together its magic.

I read this arc and am voluntarily leaving a review. Loved the characters. Sassy, sweet and full of life! Loved the romance, intimacy and relationships that blossomed. It took me a little longer to read this novel because it was a little slow at times but overall a great read!

The storyline was interesting though I though it dragged on toward the second half of the book. I did liked Violet and Adam together. The story reminded me a bit of Fifty Shades of Grey. Lots of steamy scenes. The book ends with a cliffhanger.

This book is definitely a sexual fantasy with the right moves, I love the story line and the intense emotional response from the characters the balance of innocence and erotic sexual contents blend well together lovely read, I enjoyed it.

what a fab rad, I loved everything about it. the ending does have a cliff hanger ending so be warned. I really enjoyed the characters. the story has its steamy parts. the author has a fab way of keeping you hooked till the end with the writing. this is a really fab story that you’ll definitely be reading long into the night.

This is the first book by E.G. Patrick that I have read.
This book is a sexy steamy read. The writer does an excellent job creating combustible chemistry between Violet and Adam. I really liked this story because it was a steamy read with a captivating plot! Well done.

A well written and enjoyable story.. Loved the way they keep 'bumping' into each other and the slow build up to finally getting together. Interesting airline story with the prince and Via. Definitely worth reading.

Dom/Sub book with many twist and turns and HOT , melt the pages sex. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more. There was times I wanted to shake the main characters with there repetitive talking. But over all the book was a good read and of course the sex was mind blowing at times.

I loved this book. The characters are so loveable, I imagine readers (including myself) either want to be them, or want to sleep with them! Violet and Adam have an intense chemistry between them which is captivating and had me gripped from their first meeting. The writing is playful and erotic, and maintains the same feel throughout the book. The plot development was not what I was expecting and it held my intrigue throughout. I am excited to learn this is the first in a series of books, as I loved the characters so much and can't wait to see what they get up to in the next installment.

Good storyline, leading characters were developed but I didn't feel the connection and I found the writing sometimes immature. Not sure if this is the authors first book but I'm sure the style will come with additional books. I finished it not sure if I'll read the second.

Sexy book. It warms you right up to the action. When it shot it's hot. And when it's almost it's calm. I liked how at points it was a story within a story. But was a really good read that ending was crazy built up. Can't was for book 2

5 well deserved stars..........I started reading this book on Jan. 1st and what a way to start the New Year. I absolutely loved it! Solid Stone is sexy (hot hot scenes) and edgy (emotionally charged and even a few instances that just made me LOL). It’s left me wanting so much more of the STONE. I look forward to reading book two and highly recommend this book. I really have high expectations for the series.

Really great read and different enough from all the other stuff that out’s there. Don’t get me wrong, the sex scenes are hot and unique. The story really is good and Violet the main character, a quiet type really surprised me with her fantasies which are very descriptive and also hot. I felt like I had two books in one, but in a good way. Good story with lots of unpredictability. Strong male character, I’d like to meet him! I look forward to reading book 2 after the surprise ending in this book.
