The biggest turnoff when reading "any" book is typos. They distract from the storyline. I have found two typos thus far and have only kept reading because I assume this is just a fluke. I like the storyline and the author's writing style but will discontinue reading this series if I find this continues.

Great Read. Loving the series... The further in you get, the more the pieces fall into place. And although all of the books overlap in areas, you're not reading the same story over and over again. You'll love them if you're into PNR Novels

I recently started this series and was kinda skeptical of how this book would would work out. A red eyed vampire and a ghost? No way! Surprisingly this one was really really good. It def. worked for me and the ending was completely satisfying! If you're hesistant about continuing the series at this point, dont be its worth it.

Definitely could write a corporeal romantic, sexy intrigue; it was definitely hot! However, I was really disappointed with the 2nd part of the story because I was invested in the characters and at the end, so much happened that really needed more details to balance out the story. All of the changes at the end made it a "slam-bang" ending and didn't do justice to the finality of what Neomi really is. Also, Conrad has been battling with the evil demons and they met their end with a fight, 1-2-3, all done. This didn't do justice to his struggle either.

The book is about Conrad Wroth and Neomi Laress.Conrad is the the "black sheep" of the Wroth family.Neomi is a murdered ballerina,a spirit, back from the 1920's.
The whole patern of the book,is as always excellent.Steamy love scenes, fabulous dialogues beatifull description of the background and surroundings of the story.
But that's only "it" for me.I expected a lot more from the story.Murdoch doesn't fill me up us the rest heroes of the series. He seems....vacant.He had a lot of possibilities that,in my opinion, weren't developed.
The annoying part for me was Neomi sexuality. Before she became a prima ballarina, she was a dancer and had protectors,in order to survive.I really loved that Mrs.Cole used reallity in this part of the story.
I didn't like the feeling that i had during the reading of the couple's love scenes.Neomi wasn;t sexy in my opinion or tempting. She was trashy and cheap.I can't specify the why.
Emmaline,Kaderin and all of the others were really sexy in their approach to their mates(each one of them with a different way). But Neomi wasn't.Not at all

I really enjoyed this book! I really loved Neomi & her ghostly French charm and Conrad's desire to become a better vamp. I wasn't sure how the author was going to pull this one off but she did a great job! I was not disappointed.

A friend gave me Lothaire to read before Christmas. Have to admit I couldn't put it down. So I looked up Kresley Cole and saw there was a whole series and I have ordered every one. Great series would recommend to anyone who loves to read.

What a sexy paranormal romance book! The characters act so real, so "today". And yet you have erotic and "to die for " guys! Animalistic, primal and yet caring characters. A very hot read! A great summertime distraction.
