I love these field guides. They are compact, full of information, contain high quality photos of each entry to make identification unmistakable, and contain every bird I have ever needed to look up. These may be the best field guides out there.

This book is very nice. The pictures are great. The pictures will even tell you what to expect, such as if it is a female or if it is the bird's light phase. The only thing I wish is that the descriptions along with the general area the birds are located in was with the pictures and not in the back of the book.

If you keep seeing birds in your yard and wondering what they are, you need one of these guides. I have identified quite a few. There are photographs instead of paintings or drawings and that works for me.

I bought this book for my Granddaughter's 9th birthday. She is into studying birds & wanted a book to help her identify & learn their habitats. I have this same book & know it's a great resource, so I bought one for her. She absolutely loves it & takes it everywhere she goes!! She loves the pictures & the referencing information.

An indispensable addition to anyone's Audubon collection. All of the Audubon books are perfect for students of various aspects of nature. And the books are well-made and small enough to carry in pocket or backpack.
