It will be impossible to wait for the next Aisling Grey book. I wanted to buy FIRE ME UP immediately ... waiting for sequels will be torture!

YOU SLAY ME is funny and sexy. There are times I had to stop reading to wipe the tears from my eyes because I was laughing so hard. The demon Newfie Jim is hilarious. Drake is yummy. And Aisling Grey is an appealing smart mouth who kicks some serious demon butt.

One of my favorite scenes is when Aisling uses self-defense moves (think Sandra Bullock giving a S.I.N.G. lesson in Miss Congeniality) to overcome Drake (he stole her aquamanile, after all). How she, her taxi-driving friend Rene, and the demon dog Jim get out of Drake's house was hilarious! And it's just one of the many funny scenes in the book.

If you like paranormal thriller romance (did I mention Drake is HOT?) with lots of twists and turns (I could not put this book down), you will enjoy YOU SLAY ME. I very highly recommend it!

The old adage pertaining to Murphy's Law goes something like this: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Well, that pretty much describes Aisling Grey's life from the moment she arrives in Paris, France with the seemingly simple task of delivering a package. That's the last look at "simple" that Aisling gets as she finds herself wrapped up in a murder investigation. Her subsequent attempts to clear her name go from bad to worse. This was a light, humorous read and though I do think it meandered a bit in places it was still an entertaining read. Plus, it has a comedic demon and a sexy dragon so really, what more do you need for a pleasant day's reading?

If you liked either Tanya Huff's "Summon the Keeper" series or Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum bounty hunter novels, you are going to LOVE this book.

MacAllister has a laugh-a-minute dry Scottish wit that keeps you rolling in the aisles through this romantic fantasy romp. Her lead character, Aisling (Ashling) Grey has just started a new job with her Uncle Damian as a messenger. She has a golden dragon (specifically an aquamanile) to deliver to a French collector. When she arrives, she discovers the collector dead hanging above an incomplete circle for summoning demons and a devastatingly handsome man named Drake who claims to be with Interpol. Next thing Aisling knows, Drake has stolen her dragon and she's the prime suspect for the murder.

The other reviews provide an excellent summation of the particulars of this plot. What I will say is this is a quick and light read---maybe not one you want to take to quiet environments if you have a tendency to laugh out loud!

This was my first experience with a paranormal romance as well as the first book I've read (in this case listened to) by Katie MacAlister and it will NOT be the last!! I fell in love with Katie's unique manner of writing instantly. She captured my attention from the very first words and held it throughout the entire book...it is definitely a "page turner" and I had a difficult time putting it down. I even found myself sneaking out (leaving the kids home with my husband) to do extra errands just so I could listen to more more more! It was full of excitement, energy, mystery, steamy romance, and many instances that I was bursting out with laughter.

The heroine, Aisling Grey (an Irish name pronounced Ash-leen) has a simple job of delivering a little statue to a woman in Paris. When she gets to the woman's house she finds her dead and a mysterious sexy man, Drake, is lurking nearby. Drake steals the statute just as Aisling becomes suspect #1 to the woman's murder. She sets out on a quest to find the real murderer and to clear her name so she can return home to Seattle.

She meets numerous people that keep calling her a Guardian but she has no idea why, nor what one is or does. She's shocked to find that a Guardian guards the portals to hell, but also that there are otherwordly beings walking amongst humans that appear to be "normal" people. Including the mysterious man, Drake, at the murder scene who happens to be the Wyvern (leader) of the Green Dragons and ironically is her mate.

Aisling accidentally becomes a Demon Lord when she calls upon a demon who goes by the name of Jim and is in the form of a huge, slobbering, Newfoundland dog. Jim brings so much humor to the story and the majority of my laugh-out-loud moments were from his actions or comments. He was definitely my favorite character!

Katie does an excellent job portraying the steamy relationship between Aisling and Drake. This story leaves you wanting a dragon as a mate and anticipating the second book in the series! I highly recommend it to both seasoned and new to paranormal readers!

When I read the initial details about this novel a few months ago, I ended up waiting with quite a bit of anticipation for its release. After all, most novels in this class introduce us to characters and conflicts that are invariably resolved, realistically or not, within 400 or less pages of writing. Though some such characters return in authors' later works for a brief treat, rarely is it with the depth and focus they had the first time around. I often find myself missing them once a book is finished.

Not so with YSM's heroine Aisling Grey and her anti (very) hero Drake Vireo. This is merely the first helping of a collection of wildly fascinating and well-drawn characters from an author who doesn't appear afraid to take risks with tone and humor, not to mention the staples (read: cliches) of the romance genre.

Katie MacAlister's writing sparkles with hip wit and quick, well-paced action. The characters come across as very real individuals, even as they are depicted in the sometimes limiting first-person POV the author uses throughout. I think perhaps it is because Aisling's "voice" is so entertaining (this is one resourceful, self-confident, yet still vulnerable sweetie) that there are no limitations, only revelations. But it's also due to the stark honesty MacAlister wields when creating her cast of characters -- from Rene, the gallant, gutter-talk-teaching French taxi driver, to Jim, the deranged, doggie-comedian demon sidekick and Amelie, the magic shop owner/sage who acts as mentor to Aisling's occult ingenue. And then there's Drake, an arrogant, alpha, too-handsome-for-words scoundrel (and dragon), just crying out to have his foundations rocked as early and often as possible by Aisling's oh-so-conflicting world-views.

There is real emotion in "You Slay Me," as well as insight and daring. Not to mention the erotic intensity of the sparks that fly between the two main characters.

The denouement between heroine and hero unfolds in the only sincere way it really can, lending an integrity to this story that is sometimes lacking in today's other romance offerings. At the same time, I was left desperate for the next sure-to-be madcap installment of Aisling's and Drake's adventures. May '05 simply can't get here fast enough.

You Slay Me is reminiscent of the Undead and Unwed series, where an attractive female is inadvertently thrust into the realm of the supernatural. Aisling Grey thinks she is just one a trip to Paris to deliver an antique - a magical dragon - in her courier job. However, upon arrival the recipient of the artifact has been murdered in an occultism fashion, and mysterious man by the name of Drake steals her dragon. To make matters worse, the police arrive and suspect Aisling of the crime. It does not help her case that the people she begins to know in Paris also being to turn up dead. Aisling must learn who she is, and begin to understand her powers if she is gong to solve this mystery. With the help -and sometimes the seduction of - Drake and a Demon Dog that she summoned from hell with a great sense of humor, Asling goes about this hilarious tale. There is plenty of laugh out loud moments, and a few "groaners", but that is what makes this book such a fun and easy read. I defiantly recommend for the fan of the light read comedy, or quirky supernatural female protagonists.

My friend Tracy kept telling me to read something by this author and I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed it! It's sort of a combination of Stephanie Plum, Sookie Stackhouse (with dragons instead of vampires), and Shrek (which I say because Jim reminds me of Donkey). The humorous writing was enjoyable and not forced or annoying like some other writers I've read. It kept me wanting to turn the page and I enjoyed the characters and the story. It was fun and light! I'll definitely read more by Katie MacAlister.

Aisling Grey (sounds like a British tea or something) sets off to Paris to deliver an antique artifact to an important woman and finds herself mixed up in an underworld of dragons, demons, doppelgangers and more. While the plot is funny at times, and in particular the dog/demon Jim, there wasn't enough substance to call this book great. The great romance here is between Drake (a dragon wyvern) and Aisling, but the romance is more heat and passion than true love. The story was more about Aisling than the romance anyway, and that's obviously because the author is turning this into a series. It's a good idea but I wish the book would have just ended instead of having a continuation.. The characters weren't so engaging as to warrant another installment, or two, or whatever is planned. I enjoy Macalister, but her modern romances are better than this paranormal nonsense.

Carrie Bradshaw + supernatural happenings + sexy dragon lover = Aisling Grey

Maybe it's because I started reading this book right after my daily fix of Sex & the City, but just 2 pages into the story & I already had SJP as Carrie Bradshaw playing the part of Aisling Grey in my head.

It may lack a focus on fashion, but it has just about everything else. Aisling & Carrie share the same age bracket, spunky & irreverent attitude, sarcastic American humor, & affinity for witty side quips. Both lives are rife with misadventures in & out of love, both women have quirks & rather naive personalities that can be endearingly irritating, and both are excellent heroines of the "I am single independent woman, hear me roar" sort. Even her snarky demon dog sidekick speaks (in my mind) like a New Yorker. Oh, and of course there's the steamy sex - except, in Aisling's case, it's "and the Hot Dragon" rather than "and the City."

Drake Vireo (Aisling's dragon lover) is very much the Mr. Big type. He's handsome, ridiculously wealthy, drives around in a black town car, is constantly thinking of business, & is just as frustratingly self-assured. His on & off relationship with Aisling is complicated, as despite their obvious physical attraction, their personalities often clash. Drake's aloof, arrogant, controlling, & way too serious. Aisling's talkative, quick to speak her mind, independent, & light-hearted. Not to mention they're both stubbornly set on what they want in life. As such, their fights are as fiery (pun intended, har har) as their love scenes. Hmm, sound familiar?

So, if you're looking for a light entertaining read with an SATC flavor, this series may be for you!

This was quite funny but in an extremely silly sort of way. The whole thing felt kinda puerile and shallow.

Aisling amused and annoyed me in equal measure; she behaved ridiculously. Drake came across as an insufferable sleaze. And the supporting cast of characters seriously lacked depth and development.

I did find You Slay Me to be an entertaining read -I certainly didn't hate it -but it far from blew my socks off.

The first book in Katie MacAlister's dragon series, this story just lures you right into a fun, exciting new world with great characters and intriguing plots! Aisling and Drake are perfect together and their banter is hilarious. Jim (a demon in dog form that you just HAVE to meet) is so funny and plays such a great role in this book and all the following dragon books. It's a quick read, entertaining and just laugh out loud funny. And each book after this unfolds awesome new story lines and delves into the lives of other fabulous dragons and their mates...

I picked up this book after making it through the entire series of Sherrilyn Kenyon and KM Moning's Fever series. I have to say I am having a tough time with it. The characters are nicely done and Jim has the best comebacks ever, but while reading the book, I just didn't feel the urge to keep going thru all the details. It seems a bit cluttered to me and I really want to know what is happening to Drake and Aisling.
I guess what I am missing is chivalry.
If you like the Dark Hunters and the Fever series, you might give this a try - but it may not overwhelm you at all.

This was the first Katie Macalister I had read, but it won't be the last! Think of this as Anita Blake-lite - same powerful, sarcastic, stubborn lead character, but with less scary moral dilemmas.

Aisling (pronounced ASH-ling) is new to the Otherworld, and although she's been studying demons as a hobby for years, she doesn't quite believe in them. She finds that she's a Guardian but she doesn't really know what she's guarding or how to go about doing it. I won't get into any more plot details - no spoilers here!

This is a really good read - I laughed out loud in a couple places (I hardly ever do that). One of the cases was Jim's little cheer for the final conflict - you'll have to read it for yourself to find out who Jim is!

I highly recommend this book if you're looking for something light to read - this looks to be a very good series!

After the "Corset Diaries" I was a bit concerned about our dear Katie MacAlister. But with "You Slay Me" she proves once again that mixing paranormal romance with quirky first-person humor is a combination that works. This story is full of fun, colorful characters, bizarre situations, and a compelling who-done-it mystery. Plus, it made me want to go to Paris. I'm waiting expectantly for the next installment in the Aisling Grey series. If you liked Katie's "A Girl's Guide to Vampires", you'll love "You Slay Me"!

Wow! Really an amazing book! First it started like the typical mystery novel with heroine who stumbles across a body (not really my kind of thing). But then when a dragon comes along it turns in an amazing fantasy novel (really my kind of thing). And when a demon named Jim is summoned it turned from really like to amazing. Jim is great^^ You can't do anything but love him ^^ I want a demon like him too ;)

So, already being a pretty big Katie MacAlister fan, I was fairly sure I was going to enjoy her latest book, You Slay Me -- but I was a little concerned that the book is not really a paranormal romance in that there was not going to be the usual HEA that romances generally have. This book is to be the first in a series of books starring many of the same characters, and while Aisling (the heroine) and Drake (the hero - sort of) share lots of sparks, their relationship is going to develop over a series of books, rather than coming all together at the end of this one. And I have to say that I thought Katie MacAlister did a really good job of satisfying her readers' expectations of some hot, steamy scenes, but leaving the door open for more of this relationship in the future.

Aisling is funny and quirky, and Drake is simply delicious in that wonderful unrepentant bad-boy way that can be so appealing, and Jim the demon-in-dog-form is just plain hilarious. I don't think any MacAlister fans will be disappointed in the ending -- she just leaves you begging for more!

I would recommend this book not only to those who already enjoy Katie MacAlister's books, but also to those who haven't tried her books because they're not really romance readers -- I think You Slay Me will surprise you.

This is my first Katie MacAlister novel and I realize she is very popular with her unique observations to the paranormal world. So with that in mind, I offer my humble opinion . . .

The book's heroine is wild and kooky Aisling Grey. Aisling Grey may be foolhardy and nutty, but she is lovable in a strange way. Her assignment: to deliver a medieval statue to a Paris client. She arrives in an affluent apartment only to find her customer dead. Troubling? Yes, especially when the dead buyer is hanging inside a black circle of ash with a silver object piercing her heart! Could our heroine's assignment get any worse? Oh yea! The perfect antidote to an otherwise miserable morning - the drop dead handsome Drake Vireo, the book's hero, enters the room. Sexual tension fills the air and MacAlister's satanic adventure takes off . . . well sort of.

In the opening of the book, MacAlister has Aisling in the deny mode. She denies that creatures from the dark world exist. She denies she is a Guardian. She denies Drake is a Dragon. She denies she had sex. She denies, and she denies, and she denies some more.

As well, MacAlister has a mystery running. Who or what is the murder? But the big mystery in the book is not who or what is the killer! No, the big mystery in the book is why the two lifemates avoid and agonize each another! Is this the way soulmates act? Befuddling her reader, the author offers no reason for her characters' bewildering behavior!

Nevertheless, Katie MacAlister does have some good ideas. She portrays her heroine as strong and capable. Furthermore, the reader likes Aisling because the author turns Aisling into an imperfect nincompoop. And Jim, the demon dog, is a dazzler. Yes, YOU SLAY ME is a whimsy story that follows a fun approach to the vampire domain.

However, I found the book's humor to be on the smartalecky side. In other words, the story is overdone. Maybe if the author had turned down the forced humor and "hooked up" her lovers more, well maybe she could have turned out a better story.

YOU SLAY ME is not my cup of tea, but for MacAlister fans this just might be their beverage . . .

The guardian/dragon series is one of my favorite series out there. It doesn't matter if you start with the first or last book. You will want to read them all. I can't put the book down until I read the last page. Katie MacAlister has away of making you laugh out loud or yell at a character. You will fall in love with all of them. You will not be disappointed with this book or any one of hers.

Yes, this was cute, light-hearted fun. However, it lacked wit in the dialogue, the plot was limited and the heroine was a bit of a twit. It needed more monstrous monsters, more horror and action and some soul from the main character. Apparently she lives a life where very few thoughts wander through her head and while she admits that, I did not find this aspect of her sympathetic or interesting. I do not understand how so many reviews gave this book five stars. This was cute and included a few unimaginative creatures that is the extent of it's charm.

Give me a tough, sexy, mouthy heroine and lots of truly evil creatures such as Anita Blake's adventures or Kelley Armstrong's many strong, imaginitive female characters and I can see giving them 3 and 4 stars.

Katie MacAllister does not disappoint! Whether it's Scottish settings, vamps, or dragons, her characters are funny, dialog is witty, heroes are sexy, and the reading is interesting and fun. I've read A LOT of her various books and gotta say, this series is one of the best--really fun and engaging.

I guess I'm confused by the whole "Paranormal Romance" category. Should Laurell K. Hamilton now be shelved in this category since she's dumped plot & action for sex? Well, then, shouldn't this book be shelved in fantasy if there's some action & a little sex? Like a previous reader, I didn't finish this book. I've enjoyed Mary Janice Davidson's books, and thought the description of this one sounded like something I'd enjoy, but I was sorely disappointed. I thought the writing was very unoriginal and found myself quickly tired of the heroine's one-liners. So I skipped ahead to the sex scenes.

Another disappointment awaited me when I found them - once, he dominates her, then she dominates him. And all the references to "dragon's fire" got old. If you can't even enjoy the dirty part, what fun is it?

Jim was a great character. Drake was pretty wooden, and Aisling just seemed like a funny airhead. I don't doubt that Katie can write, but it just seems like cranking out little volumes like this is a waste of her time and talent.

I'll be quiet and retreat to the "Fantasy" section now...

Intelligent, quirky, and divinely funny... the hapless heroine stumbles into a murder with occult ties and discovers her own frequently lamented ties to demons and other fantastical concepts. Dragons, witches, and demons frolic alongside gung ho cab drivers and nosy police inspectors in this romp from the author of Sex and the Single Vampire and A Girl's Guide to Vampires. This novel takes place in a well designed alternative reality with laws that carry over from the previous works. The characters are creepy, warm, and oh so tempting. I can't wait for the next trip with Aisling.

I was caught, mostly by the humor, a paranormal romance that has this much humor, who knew?? Add magic and mayhem, romance and friendship and it's an amazing read, the beginning to a series you won't be able to put down!

I picked up this book purely out of curiosity, but the world of Aisling (think "Ashley" only end with "ing" instead of "ee") Grey is not to be missed! This series is such a delight and so much fun; it is a perfect pick-me-up for any occasion!

I admit I blushed each time I had to go to the Romance section in the bookstore to pick up a new book (Honestly, since when do a few bodice-ripping love scenes necessarily make a book a "romance novel"? There's more gratuitous sex in Laurell K. Hamilton's books, and they're under Horror!) But just as they say "Don't judge a book by its cover", don't judge this book by its section! With fantasy, humor, mystery, and of course romance, there's a little something for everyone! Plus, they get better every book!

Aisling Grey has just discovered that she is a Guardian. Not only that, she is completely untrained (really, someone should let her know these things.) Then not only does she somehow become the owner of a demon named Jim (who likes to drool, gross!), but she discovers that she is a lifemate to a dragon ... and not just any dragon, but the man in charge, Drake. Sigh - there is only so much a girl can handle.

A funny quirky story about Aisling Grey who goes to Paris to deliver a package and ends up in world of trouble! I am a fan of Janet Evanovich and Stephanie Plum. Aisling Grey rivals Stephanie. Great fun, lots of interesting characters, guys to drool over, decisions to ponder and cheer for - with just a bit of fantasy to bind it all together. I have read some of MacAlister's other romancy novels, but this series is the best.

The quirky title caught my eyes and the storyline got me involved from the start! Klutzy, but lovable heroine Aisling and slightly scary but smoldering sexy Drake are at the heart of a murder/mystery/romance story. But my favorite character is her sidekick dog demon, Jim, with his quick quips and only too "human" foibles. Her cast of characters are well-chosen and only enhance the story. I'd like to read more about the dragons in their own story as well (hint! hint!).MacAlister's style of writing is quick, fast-paced leaving me a bit breathless. Her sense of humor is showcased in laugh out loud parts of the story, inadvertently waking up my slumbering spouse. I couldn't put it down and stayed up 'til the wee hours of the morning to finish this exhilirating sexcapadism!

First, let me say that I had read Katie Macalister's vampire novels before I read this one. I did manage to finish this book because I kept hoping that it would get better as it went along. The best I can say is that the story is mediocre compared to her Sex and The Single Vampire, and A Girl's Guide To Vampires!! The best characaters in the story were Draco, and the Demon Dog, Jim. I guess they were the reasons why I kept reading this book. I may read the next one in this series just to see whether she does a better job in holding my interest. Maybe I'm just not into Dragons, Demon's, and such. Who knows?

A delightful and laugh out loud book. Aisling Grey is not you typical romance character and is well drawn. She is independent, wise-cracking woman who quickly figures out what she doesn't know. Drake, the green dragon wyvern is just not another hunk. But the joy of the book, is Jim. Jim, the demon she conjures up, in the shape of a big, black Newfoundland dog, is hilarious. The dialog between Aisling and Jim, and Aisling and Drake, is sharp and funny. The supporting characters add interest to the plot. A good read that keeps the reader interested in what comes next. Here's hoping a lot more Aisling Gray books are to come.

I don't normally like books written in first person, but this one was great! Aisling is funny and knows how to laugh at herself as well. At first, I was a little turned off by the flippant treatment of the "magical" world that she is in. Most paranormal books have a more serious tone and treatment of magic and such. By the end of the book, I was totally hooked. I love the characters and her side kick is the best I've seen in years. Definitely worth a read.

I REALLY enjoyed this! I never knew about the world of the mundane versus the otherworld and I certainly knew nothing about Dragons! Katie Macalister brings a different world to life with her well built characters and scenes. The heroine is a strong woman who stands up for herself but is also in over her head. I feel like that all the time! Book Well Done.

Slow start but get's hot, hot, hot, quick, quick, quick. Aislin (pronounced Ash-ling) Gray is a bit of a screw up with a lot of luck on her side. She finds out she is a Guardian, I'm still not quite sure what that is, something about guarding entrances to hell, but liked the book enough to forge on to the next title: Fire Me Up!

I cannot even believe this book got published but clearly there is an audience for it. I don't see it. Speaking of "it?" That was one of the most ridiculous things she did in the book. There is a demon named Jim in the book, ok? This demon appears in the form of a large, black, male, Newfoundland. Which is a dog. But she refers to this dog as "it." Giving us such pearls of grammar as this: "Jim's eyes almost bugged out of it's head." Or this: "Jim flung itself on him." Over and over she constructs sentences so that she can flaunt what she obviously thinks it a cute plot device but instead it's just irritating. However, the dog is about the only interesting character in the book. Except she threatens to castrate him every, excuse me, castrate "it" every twenty seconds and that gets even older than the misused "it."

And then there is Aisling. I guess she is supposed to be a lovable madcap along the lines of Lucille Ball. Messes up everything she touches but you just gotta love her anyway. But there is nothing lovable about Aisling. She just comes off as stupid and clueless.

And romance? Well, she clobbers the hero in the nose, giving him a nosebleed, and that causes such instant lust in the both of them that they go into the next room and have at it against the wall. While a club full of people listen in the near vicinity. Be still my beating heart.

The book tries so hard to be clever that it's as embarrassing as the girl who tries too hard to be liked by everyone. Why I read the whole thing I have no idea. I guess I thought something in the book had to be best seller worthy and I didn't want to miss it. I must have missed it.

Ashling reminds me of stephanie plum--from janet evanovich's books--she means well but doesn't really know what she's doing and kinda stumbles around screws things up---but they always work out in the end. If you don't like this type of female character then skip this. Ashling is set in a supernatural world with dragons, wiccans, etc. I love novels like this but i know some people don't. If you like sherilyn kenyon or christine feehan--this is a funnier version of those stories. Good fun read

I really love Katie Macalister's books. Her heroines are not perfect Barbie dolls and the men are not all perfect alphas. I laughed out loud at several pages, I even had to put the book away because it was so funny. I was in public eating lunch.

This book was cute and I caught myself laughing out loud during some parts of this book. Quirky, funny, paranormal, all mixed into one. Katie MacAlister gained a loyal fan with this book... Many thanks to Katie for another fabulous book! I don't need to go into a major description of the book (just check the reviews below). I can tell you this; I normally like to have everything wrapped up in one book. This one was great on it's own and I was not unsatisfied in the end (even knowing it would be continued in a second book). I have only one complaint: Do we really have to wait until next May for the sequel?!!!

This author has so much potential. The Characters and story could have been so much better in some other author's hands. The female lead was whining, annoying and made so many stupid choices. For example, she refused to find out what a Guardian's job is. She refused to accept the protection of being the Draco's mate. Instead she blithly walked into another Dragon's weyr and got into trouble. Jim, her demon provides comic relief and Draco is to die for. By the time I got to the end she has made so many stupid decisions I ended up throwing the book against the wall. Read this for the sex scenes, but this is definately not a keeper.

She sent me Men In Kilts and I found the book so engaging, so laugh aloud, yet with so much heart and substance. So when I opened my care package and found this book, I was glad to see another Macalister book.

This book is simply amazing and I cannot wait for more in the series. Just so refreshingly amazing, the humour, again, is laugh out till your sides hurt.

So this lowly male cannot wait for another edition of this series.

This is the second Katie MacAlister book I've read (the first being Sex and the Single Vampire), and I'm am now officially addicted to her books. I went on the read the sequel, Fire Me Up (finished them both in less than 2 days!), and I can't wait for her next ones! True, the heroine is clumbsy and stupid at times, but it's just Katie's style. I love Aisling, and Drake, and especially Jim, the demon in dog form. Laughed out loud many a times. I'll probably be looking into getting all of her books. Great read!

This book, written at the first person, is so funny, so fast, so out of this world, that you finish it and are left still wanting so much more...It's a good thing cause, you can get more !
The caracters are hilarious (I will never look at a newfounland dog with the same eyes) incredible, but believable...Read it, you'll know what I mean.

I found this and the following Aisling Grey delightful. I especially love Jim, the demon ( who is an "it" regardless of what another review says) and the taxi driver, who serves up such amusing French phrases.

Ms. MacAlister's sense of humor and writing ability both fit my appetite. Wait until you run into the professional virgin.

I will buy most anything she writes and read them several times.
