Again written after Parker died...the writer has captured the people in the story as good as Parker...The relationship between Jesse and Molly is great. The city leaders just don't what to do with Jesse.

Oh...it is a real good story too

Michael Brandman's rendition of Robert B Parker's Jesse Stone was very good and in keeping with Robert B. Parker's Jesse Stone books. The story is consistent and the Jesse Stone character comes alive for the reader from the pages of the novel. This book would make an excellent Jesse Stone movie with Tom Selleck.

Engrossing. Hard to put down, even for a while. You know the characters, old and new. You travel with them and share their feelings.

I have read all of Robert Parker's novels, including those penned in his honor by associates and friends. This was a great read, ranking with the best.

I am grateful to those who continue to write about Robert Parker's characters. They live on!

After reading Fool Me Twice in one sitting, I found myself grateful to Michael Brandman for keeping Jesse Stone alive. I'm a big fan of all of Robert B. Parker's books and would be sorry to lose any of the characters he created. So I'll just say thank you to Mr. Brandman for this book and all future efforts. Maybe I can even sneak in a thank you to Tom Selleck as well for making Jesse Stone come alive in the movies. To everyone involved, please keep up the good work.

With the unfortunate passing of Robert B. Parker a few years back, his replacement authors fail to write about the strong characters we've all come to love in the past. The Jesse Stone stories were excellent, but they now seem to be just published in a hurry with a shallow story. Truthfully, this book was not worth the money or time to read it.

Although the Parker estate seems happy with Brandman, I miss Parker and am not totally convinced that Brandman has captured the tone and mood of Parker and Stone. That said though, Jesse Stone is a great character and Brandman is trying.

A readable novel but lacks the Robert B. Parker touch. I miss the original Jessie Stone. This is like the Tom Sellick TV movies Jessie Stone: Excellent when they were based on a Parker novel, not so good when they weren't.

I was skeptical at first, but the writer pulled it off. The same feel and voice of Parker....very well done and a great way to continue the legacy. More please...I can keep reading about Spencer, Sunny, and the rest.

I believe Michael Brandman has done a good job following up on Jesse Stone and in Robert Parker's footsteps. Jesse is such a good character that I was hoping someone would step in and keep the stories coming.

Wonderful book. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the large print when ordering... Michael Brandman does a great job of continuing the wit, humor, suspense and veracity of the original author. I look forward to more Jesse Stone stories!

With Robert Parker's death, many fans thought that both Jesse Stone and Spenser had seen their day. For Stone fans, at least, breathe easy. This is the man behind the Jesse Stone TV movies, and if you liked those, you'll love this! Michael Brandman has the cadence and the rhythm down pat. An altogether enjoyable read.
