This book continues the story of Barnabas Sackett as he cuts all ties to England and begins a new life in America. The story flows well and is easy to read. I enjoyed it and look forward to starting book 3 of the series.

Barnabas Sackett's life from his evasion of the Queen of England in Europe to fighting and befriending different tribes of Indians North of Jamestown and South of Plymouth. Makes a long drive seem much shorter! John Curless has a perfect voice for this story. One of Louis Lamour's best!

I am enjoying the story line of the Sacketts and their start in the beginnings
