Westerns
Review:This has been a wonderful book,in more ways than one for me.
I have read several more of Ms.Stallings books and have quiet a few more to read as time permits.
I don't think I have read a one that doesn't have values of a Christian nature we could and learn from. They are written in a way that gives you something to think about and do some real soul-searching while reading them and even after you stop reading for awhile.
That said.
The reason I just gave it a four star is this: The boo... Read more
Review:This was a very realistic story that kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next as well as to who and why. It concluded as really feel good story of how life can turn around and be rewarding with God's love along the way. Read more
Review:We have read 1,2,3 & waiting for delivery of #4. Loved these books. Fun to read. Thought provoking. Hard to put them down. If you want a reasonably believable series of books like this if you buy no others buy the Trackers series. I hope there is a book 5 in the works. WE thank you Nick. Read more
Review:Bobby Akart’s new book immediately takes hold and never gives you a second to relax. Get ready for a ride -from the rodeo in South Dakota, to the ranchlands of Texas, then the venerable buildings of DC, and over to the terrorists countries across the ocean.

Review:Love, loss, mighty forces and quiet beauty. This is as much a story of America as of the west. Perfect mix of action and strategy. Captures character growth and development. The story shows the value of having a heart of the granite hard integrity, This should be required reading for congress. Read more
Review:This book continues the story of Barnabas Sackett as he cuts all ties to England and begins a new life in America. The story flows well and is easy to read. I enjoyed it and look forward to starting book 3 of the series. Read more

Review:I always enjoy reading Louis L'Amour's books; this is about the third time around for me, reading them all. While "Kilkenny" may be a bit slower than his others, it's still head and shoulders--sombrero and six-gun ?--just about any other writer of light fiction. Read more
Review:Can you see those trees along the shore? What about those mountains in the back ground.I've walked along high up hills and what Louis Lamour writes about I can see what he can seeand the smell of pine.Well you just got to be there. Read more
Review:First off, I really enjoy westerns. That said, The filthy language and cheap sexual perversion in modern novels just disgust me. I'm not a prude.....far from it. If that is what it takes to sell books, I'll pass.
The stories in Big Medicine are enjoyable and easy reading.
Let you wonder how you would react if being tossed into the same situation.....BTW, the good guy wins. Read more
