Review:Excellent stories I have read many times. Only reason I wouldn't 5 star it, is that it contains quite a few editing mistakes, some misspellings and wrong words in a couple of places. We'll worth the money though! Read more
Review:If you like Louis L'amour stories, you like these early one from him. I lived in New Mexico and trekked the areas his stories take place in. If you've ever ridden drag or liven in Tularosa ro been to the Silver Spur you'll love the stories. Read more
Review:William Tell Sackett is heading for Los Angeles. He's got thirty pounds of gold to sell and is willing to ride the extra miles to get a better price. But no one can ride with that much gold and not attract a certain amount of trouble.
The trouble this time comes in the form of a black-eyed girl named Durinda. She's beautiful, and she's obviously on the run from something. Always having a soft spot for hard luck cases, Tell agrees to take her to Los Angeles with him almost before he re... Read more
Review:Logan Sackett, part-time outlaw, fast with a gun,and as tough as raw hide, is drifting along and runs into Emily Talon, an equally tough old widow who is defending her land against a bunch of no-good gunslingers. When Logan finds out Emily was born a Clinch Mountain Sackett, he decides to help and it is down hill from there for the gun-slingers, but not without Logan being shot full of holes and nearly being killed several times. Review:Because this is a collection of short stories by several Western authors, some of them very well known, such as Louis l'Amour, the quality of the writing and stories is bound to vary. But the ones I've read so far are excellent, and I look forward to reading the rest. Read more
Review:I enjoyed this story that kept me captivated with its mystery, romantic suspense, unexpected circumstances, trouble-makers, danger and new beginnings. Tabitha Canterbury had a dream to opening a bookstore, even if it meant leaving her parents in New York and traveling to Wyoming where she has an Aunt and Uncle, siblings of her mother. She has given up on love and marriage and accepted she is a spinster, but she has her books and her bookstore. Hunter Wade finds himself the half owner of the Br... Read more
Review:Nicely done Christian romance. No sex scenes just good old fashioned good triumphing over evil. It grabs you quickly and I got into the story of the hero Harrison and his lovely Princess, who just happens to be cattle baron Royalty. He of course has no clue she comes from money bur does save her life. It is a good western as well with all the usual salt of the earth characters. A quick, nice read. Read more
Review:It was probably worthy of more review stars but I was so miffed at it not being a fairy tale that i was in a temper with the book. Why on earth was it billed as a fairy tale? It would have been terrific to have this real live fairy princess living in America. Through most of the first chapter I thought "What a wonderful plot, having fairy people living openly." And to have her fall for a cowboy? - such innovation! Oh dear... turned out the book was about an ordinary human princess meeting a... Read more
Review:Another great story by Duane. A read page turner. His character development builds throughout the book. Another enjoyable side is the way Duane crafts a great story without having to resort to profane and vulgar language.
Keep them coming sir. Read more
