The book was good, easy read, but there were some predictable story lines and I wish the ending was different. I think that it was a little unbelievable the relationship between the main character and the child...especially if she has so much practice and history in the field...she would know not to get so attached.

I think it's a good story about family and the shapes that family can come in, extended, tight, wild, harsh, and above all loving.

While some of the scenarios were predictable, the major story of Alice was so compelling and the relationship with Julia so lovely, that I was riveted. The emotional scenes when Alice was taken from Julia, ripped my heart out and I used more tissues than I've used in a book in a long time. Thank you, Kristin, for continuing to give us such wonderful reading.

Loved it! Hannah has always interesting stories. This is another one... and I feel I could not go wrong with buyng one of her books. The end COULD have been a little more detailed and longer – but thats the only part I thought that could have been different. Maybe because I didn't want it to stop...:)

This is a very interesting book from cover to cover! Kristina Hannah is an excellent writer. She is great with descriptions of both scenery and characters. This is one of those books that you can't put down.

In this book Julia is a psychiatrist who specializes in children. She is called to her hometown to help with a wolf child. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot which lead to a happy ending.

Having read all of Hannah's books, I kept looking for more. Her stories are always compelling. Not crime, gory or in your face plots, but such a pleasant read. Like potato chips, you can't just read one. But be sure to read Winter Garden. It's my favorite.

Kristin Hanna's Magic Hour grabbed me right from the start. I'm half way through it and don't want it to end. A tender heart-felt read, a tinge of suspense, what will happen to this endearing little lost child? I know this will end up with the best possible scenarios, that's Hannah's style and why I love reading her books, always filled with hope and love.

This is a FANTASTIC book. It had me interested the entire way through. The subject really intrigued me and I was so curious about this little girl's past. It was heart-warming to watch their relationship blossom and see Alice let Dr. Cates into her life. Short review but it's just a wonderful book. I highly recommend it.

As true to the writing style of Kristin Hannah, this story kept me riveted from beginning to end. The characters are endearing and the story line weaves a web of interest that brings you deep into it. The only problem with her books is, when you start them, you don't move until you have finished them. I loved the book and look forward to reading another of Kristin Hannah's excellent stories.
