This book must weight 2 pounds and hundreds of pages long, so any question a person may have male of female concerning sex is covered honestly and in depth.

The authors are trying to honestly explain sex and its joys as well as its emotional hurdles.

This book has literally anything you could possibly want to know about anything related to Sex and presents it in a way that feels very approachable for anyone. It could easily be a text book, but it's way more fun to read.

The book is reliable source material that is written in a way that anyone can understand. It's funny but also knows when to be more serious on certain topics. It's fun to read and informational at the same time.

Everyone should read this book. From the young getting ready to have sex to the old that could use to learn
a thing or two. It is very informative and easy to understand. It is not clinical. Just like talking to a friend.
I sure wish I had this book when I was young. It is a very large book, over 1800 pages.
Even if you think you know what you are doing, I would recommend reading this book.

i love the author. not only is he knowledgeable, but thoughtful as well. he points out that emotional trust can be a cornerstone of physical intimacy. great book for demystifying a number of topics.

I would like to mention just a few of the awesome things that I did not know about the male *ahem* appendage but I have a feeling my review would get taken down so you will have to explore the book on your own. I have been getting it on for many years and I approve this book. :)

The book is perfect, but my husband was angry, when I wanted to read with him together. He thinks I bought this book because he couldn't make a lover. But I bought because I wanted some new and better than before. AAaaah, the men are so vain :-)))

This book is amazingingly uncensored & uncomfortably informative & engaging. I purchased the book for my undergraduate Sexual Health class and reading it doesn’t feel like homework. I recommend this book for anyone in any age group, especially today’s curious teenagers who constantly rely on porn for everything they think they know about sex, their partner, receiving/giving pleasure, and about their own bodies. This book has all the answers porn, your parents, & your friends could never tell you or help you discover about yourself. If you had to pick up any book, let it be this one. Your brain and other private parts of your body won’t regret it. Unless of course you’re a nun, then by all means stay far away from this sinful book ?

Plainly spoken, light, oft humorous, hits every topic, and I love that it addresses sexual "health" questions you didn't know you had-esp. for the opposite sex. I feel that part of it debunks the notion that our bodies are "gross" and its functions are revolting. (Well-some of them. *wink*) A good portion of the book is technique, but it's so much more than that. Even if you've read all the booksl, even if you think you know all there is to know, read this anyway. You will not only learn something (I had no idea there was actually a biochemical reason Sperm burns your eyes, and it does btw) , you will enjoy the learning process. Could easily function as a "get things rolling" book for couples, or an educational manual. I wish there was a little more on the emotional role of sex, but then again with phrases like this : "If you aren't equal partners in sex, you aren't equal partners period. Is that really what you want?" I suppose you don't need to say much more, do you? I've read a lot of sex books, this one is up there with the best.

Good book. It has a lot of useful information however I'm not a fan of a few chapters since I believe god gave us all we need for pleasuring ourselves and our partners. Though that isn't the point of the book it is to give an overall in depth vision of sexual activity and education that is so lacking in our education these days. I wish I would have been given this when I was 12. Yes 12 I was sexually curious at 10 but started getting active around 12. These days its not uncommon sadly. However if I would have known more information like what is in this book I would have felt more comfortable with myself and maybe waited longer. Sexual activity isn't bad, nor being curious. I just believe direction is best and our parents are less informed then we are so who do we turn to? Well I turned to making mistakes and regret. However after reading this I was bold enough to give a copy to my new mother in law who I've never seen blush and my wife's younger sister who just became sexually active at 16. Her sister was upset I knew but wouldn't give up the book lol. Point is information in here is good and education is vital to success in everything in life, including a good sexual foundation regardless of its age, gender, or ordination it covers everything I could think of and things I never would have. It has also brought my relationship with my wife and my family closer though after given the books I told them I didn't want to talk about it that was as far as I tread lol. It showed I cared about them and their happiness. Some may disagree and that's fine. I'm completely comfortable in myself and this book only added more confidence. I would highly suggest it for birds and bees talk or a wedding gift to friends or co-workers (with note I don't want to talk about it and enjoy lol).

Amazing book, professor is using it in my class. It is written with a sense of humor and is extremely informative, I will be recommending this to everyone I know! This is information that we as human beings need to know and we are all so undereducated on the topics of hygiene, sex, sexual health, safety, etc. We cannot just rely on the school systems to teach this stuff in health class because most of the time they don't!

I came across this guide several years ago, and even then was thrilled by the overall tone of the book, as well as the detailed info on subjects one may not even have thought about right away when thinking sex...such as the composition of semen, and why it smells and tastes the way it does.
Recently, I recommended the book to a friend whose daughter is starting to explore her sexuality...for her...but my friend's curiosity was awakened as well when the book arrived. The volume must have tripled by now...and I decided to order one for myself now too, to update my own knowledge of sex. This book clearly is for a wide audience, teenagers and adults alike. As an adult, you may be very surprised by all the things you didn't know about sex...and especially if you have a teenager you want to have "the sex talk" with... you may realize it may be time for you to beef up your own sexuality knowledge before doing so.The book strikes the right conversationalist tone to entertainingly present very important issues.
I taught sexuality classes on universities a few years back, and consider this book the all around, hands-down, best choice to learn about sex.

Perfect book for me as I started a new relationship after healing from a sexually-abusive one. It's very frank, and easy to read and relate to. I owe my awesome sex life in part to this book (but mostly to my courage to heal and my amazing partner). There's nothing it doesn't cover, and there's so many suggestions for all walks of life. We had a lot of fun experimenting with the scenarios described in this book.

This book is humorous, informative and quite thorough! We really enjoy the way that it is written and the factual aspects that take into account that everyone is different. Excellent purchase and good reading. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in 'getting it on!'

I love this book! Everyone should get it. The reason I got this book was because of a Human Sexuality course I am taking at my junior college. I hadn't heard about it until then. Boy am I glad I took that class!!

This book is full of anything and everything you want to know about sex! If you are not picky about how recent the research is, I highly suggest this older edition of the book because it is cheaper. From piercings to puberty to any kind of sex, this book has it all!

I am a sexual specific therapist. I own several versions of this.book. It is the best sexual guide I have encountered in 15 years of doing this work. A book that answers any question you might have about sex. Written with taste, education and humor! I think if more people were educated about sex, sexual acts, pleasuring your partner and yourself.....there could be less relationship turmoil!

I would recommend this book to everyone. I have had a copy for years and purchased this for a friend. The college Human Sexuality class I assisted a year ago used this book as required reading. It really prompted a lot of thought and allowed students to read about any and every sex question they had.

This arrived earlier than expected. Once you open the book, there are so many things to choose from.. 3 somes..G-spots..swingers etc!
All the sections are very fun and informative to read with some visual pictures. You won't want to put it down after reading one section because you'll be busy looking at the other sexual things ;-)
