Review:I used this book in a senior-level university photography course, and it was a good read, but I feel it belongs more in a freshman class or grade school. The book is well written, and does a decent job at not being wordy where it shouldn't be, however, it's mostly basic stuff for anyone who has already experienced the fears of being an artist. Some things were new and beneficial insights for me, but a lot of it was just bringing my existing thoughts and feelings to words. Read more

Review:Love this workbook! Covers a lot of sight words needed for kindergarten to second grade. My daughter loves it as well.
The best thing you can do is to scan/copy and print the pages so you can use them multiple times. My child learns by doing and she has to "do" a few times before it sticks with her. By copying and printing the pages she can go through the worksheets several times or however much she needs.

Review:Nowhere does the description of this book say that it is mainly useful for grades K-8. I'm a high school teacher and can adapt use some of the strategies but would have preferred to save my $40 since it's geared toward elementary students. Read more
Review:This book is perfect for my kindergartner. I mostly want him to practice writing and using a pencil as that is what he struggles the most with and the varied activities in this book are great for that. The book itself it small, but it has a good number of different activities. Read more
Review:This book makes mathematics fun and easy. it is the only book for maths that i am not getting tired of despite having English as a second language. As a teacher I am inspired by the humorous and smart way of introducing maths to students. i am planning to buy the second book as well. I hope Danica writes more books explaining algebra and other difficult math concepts. Read more
Review:This book was written to clearly explain the romance and physical side of Love and sex. The graphics are good and honest and the humor keeps you moving along. This book must weight 2 pounds and hundreds of pages long, so any question a person may have male of female concerning sex is covered honestly and in depth.
The authors are trying to honestly explain sex and its joys as well as its emotional hurdles. Read more
Review:Best if your first language is English....extremely hard if you are a second language learner. However, I have had upper elementary, go-getter students who wanted to challenge themselves who were ESL students. Just be careful to not overwhelm ESL beginners. Read more
Review:This workbook/grammar review does its job well. Jane Straus has organized the material well. The practice exercises are brief and to the point, and she covers the major points--those problem points that so easily trip us up in our writing. I find the material very useful. Read more
