Haley Pierce did a great job on this story. Unbroken was well written and had a good story plot. The story had many emotions. Silas and Genevieve were great characters. Even though they didn't think they were good for each other, they were. They were great together. Their connection and chemistry was strong and sexy. I enjoyed this book. Thank you, Haley Pierce. Great work :)

I thought this was a good book. It was a coming of age and second chance romance, that really touched me. It was also a second chance book where Genevieve finally gets the guy but has the strength to do what's best for them both. She learns she has real strenth then.I really liked it.

A second chance story. Geni and SIlas have a history, and when he decides to hang out in his old hometown while he recuperates, we slowly learn the story of Geni and Silas. One an unhappy person who is down on her luck, and he, the Super Bowl ring wearing bad boy returned.

Silas is an a$$hole. that is the truest statement ever. I can understand the first break up they were kids. The second chance that he screwed up it would serve him right if she never wanted anything to do with him ever again. Lucky for him she loves him.

I loved the interaction between Genevieve and Silas - their love for each other as well as their insecurity. Both wants what’s best for the other and don’t understand how they can make them to be the best for each other.

Silas is a quarterback who after a bad injury during a match goes back to his hometown.
Genevieve has to take care of her father after her mother died. She had plans for her future but life went in the way and now she is working in a bar.
I didn’t like the book at all. It has nothing of interest for me. The characters are difficult to understand: now I’m good, now I’m bad; now I’m being honest, now I’m lying; now I love you, now I hate you. I don’t like lies, and Silas is lying all the time. I don’t like violence and Geni is hitting him all over the book. It took me ages to read the book even though it is not very long and I was about to give up reading it, but I wanted to give it an opportunity to prove me wrong. Sorry to say I was right. A boring book full of nothing.

Wow. What a wonderful read about second chances. I really enjoyed this book. Silas and Genevieve were sweethearts in high school and then Silas made a very big mistake. Will Genevieve forgive him???? You have to read to find out.

I thought this was a fantastic second chance at love story! It was so good! I loved the characters. Silas and Genevieve. They both had issues to overcome. This book keptmy Attention. It shows the ups and downs in a relationship and shows what happens when you lie. It kept you sad about what can happen in relationships. But in the end..... happiness.

Silas and Genevieve were high school sweethearts until he went off to play football. Their relationship is somewhat combative. He comes back to their small town after an injury and they still have strong feelings, good and bad. It is an interesting relationship.

This book is a good read. A emotion packed romance with plenty of ups and downs. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two characters and the plotline. Genevieve is the girl who couldn't stand her home town. She was the one who would get out as soon as her high school diploma was in her hands. And she did until her mother passed away unexpectedly. She had to come home for her father who would never be the same. She works as a waitress in a bar and has to endure the football games on t.v.. Her opinion of football is all based on her ex from high school, Silas, since he's now the star quarterback for the Steelers. It wouldnt be so bad if he hadnt been the one to break her heart.
I got sucked in to this book from the start. Geni is frustrated with her life because she's not doing what is in her heart. She is responsible for her father and he deserves the best. So she is stuck. She is constantly reminded about Silas since the whole town is obsessed with football. When Silas comes back home, shes reminded of all the reasons they broke up. But hes determined to get back into her good graces.
Silas is the bad boy who was raised by his single father. He also can't wait to get out of town after high school. He had even made plans for them to leave together. Then Geni breaks up with him and he really can't wait to get away. The reason he comes home is because he feels the need for home after getting hurt on the field.
They both have to come to terms with what has happened between them. And they try again. Geni has never gotten over Silas. And he has feelings for her that are unresolved as well. I must admit there are times when I absolutely hate Silas. He's selfish. He wants to get back at Geni for how she broke up with him. And he denies his feelings about being back in town and being with Geni again.
Their journey isn't smooth. They have really tough moments and I didn't know how they would work everything out. I felt closest to Geni and felt every emotion that she experienced. Wonderful story and wonderful way to end.

Geneveive and Silas were a hot item in high school until the night of her Prom when they argued and she broke it off. He went off to college on a football scholarship and became a star with a "World Championship Ring" to prove it and she was stuck in a dead end job trying to make ends meet. Four years later he is back in town with a injury that could mean the end of his career and he wants her back. This is their story! I was not impressed with this story, I did not like Silas's attitude or the lies he spun to get what he wanted, it spoilt the story for me and I felt the ending was off. I could not relate to either of the characters and there seemed like not a lot of depth in their emotions.

When Silas has an injury the last thing she expects is for him to come home to heal.  But he does as he's never forgotten her either.  Haley Pierce has created this fantastic romantic comedy for us letting us in on so many of their secrets and misunderstandings that tore them apart but can they overcome them or is it too late for a second chance at love and a HEA??  This is a fast paced story that you will not want to put down Silas and Geni are just so suited and obviously belong together and I really enjoyed the journey of their story.  Both complex characters that were totally believable and endearing. As it's one of Haley's stories there is bound to be some steamy scenes that you'll need your fans set to max cool and be prepared to laugh out loud.  A really witty and sweet story that I'll be wanting to read again. If this is the first story that you've read by her then this will certainly make you a fan too.  I encourage you to get yourself a copy and prepare yourself to relax and enjoy. This was a beautiful love story of second chances that was so well done; it held my attention and was entertaining and humorous at times, but also was heartwarming and emotional. This is a story about Genevieve (Geni) Wilson and Silas St. Clair, who were high school sweethearts, and who get to have a second chance at love. Silas and Geni broke up after high school—then four years later, Silas is a big time NFL football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers (yeah Steelers!—I am partial) and a Heisman trophy winner. During one game, Silas becomes injured and returns to his home town. One person he never thought he would meet upon his return to their home town is Geni, who was the Valedictorian in high school. Why didn’t she leave? Read how their lives have changed and after seeing each other for the first time in four years—what happens next!!! There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

Wow!! This book is hot.

Bad boy football player Silas is the star of his team. Every girls wet dream, but he has only ever had eyes for one girl - Genevieve.

This is my first experience of the authors writing and I truly loved it. The characters are well developed and the story line and plot are solid. The sex scenes are steamy and full on with just the right amount of detail.

Cannot wait to read more from Haley Pierce.

Loved it!! Completely hooked!!

I love second chance romances, especially those with unfinished business. I enjoyed the way this couple shows the sexual tension and desires they still hold. The mixture in playfulness and drama really balance the story. First loves are never forgotten and are supposed to last. But when one of them decides their relationship needs to go on the back burner because careers come first, then it’s time to move on. Silas and Genevieve must decide if forgiveness is even on the table. I would have enjoyed a little more detail towards the end.

Unbroken is my first Haley Pierce book and I look forward to reading more of her stories.

A wonderful book about a woman called Genevieve who grew up with silas and was his girlfriend at high school.
They didnt have sex back then he got as far as playing with her breasts.
They broke up on prom night and she hasnt seen him since.

Silas is a football star and everyone knows him and the girls want him. People ask for his signature everywhere.
He comes back into town to win Genevieve back and get surgery for his leg.

A very sexy book about two people use to love each other years ago finding that love again.

This was well written with characters who are, I am sure, familiar to us all. Geni has low self esteem and because of that she dumped Silas before he could dump her - Silly Girl! Well her dreams fell flat but his were realised but when he comes home to recover from an injury and finds Geni still there, a big surprise apparently, Silas decides to try again and what do you know Geni pulls the old dump first trick again! She was really annoying and I don't think she deserved Silas. But you'll have to read the book to find out what happens. By the By I loved Silas. Haley Price has written a story we can all relate to.

High school sweethearts and second chances. I thought this was such an emotionally charged, well written and captivating book.
Silas and Geni never quite got over each other after being high school sweethearts, so when Silas returns to town after being away, and becoming a football star., Having to put his sports career on hold due to a football injury. They have no choice but to face each other and confront the past. Will they be able to forgive and forget start anew and Love again?

Simple story of Genevieve and Silas. High school sweethearts. It was an okay read. I wish it was longer to find out what happens after they get back together the second time. Also an epilogue would have been nice to highlight her new job and what happens to her father. I had a hard time getting into the story at the beginning but towards the middle it picks up my interest. At the end I just said to myself.. Is that it;. This book by Haley Pierce was a refreshing take on a second chance romantic love story. I loved the battles between the two strong lead characters as they fight to be with each other and fight not to be together. I really like the ferocity and strength she gives to the leading female in the story. I liked that the story was just another guy gets girl, guy loses girl, etc. story line. Haley Pierce is a gifted author, this is the second book of her's that I have read and she has never disappoint me. If fact I tend to think about her books long after I put them down. There is a depth to her writing, and how I get to read and imagine in my mind the characters themselves growing into stronger individuals after trying circumstances and come out on the other side completely different from when I started reading the book.
