I've recommended to so many people. Could hardly put down. I real eye opener. I'd say a must read. I'd say it's important to read Etched in Sand first. Remarkable story of the survival and success of these siblings in spite a horrific upbringing.

Unless you've experienced even a fraction of what this family went through, you could not fathom what it's like. No text book could ever reveal the trauma/the pain, both emotional and physical.
This book speaks of pain,But more than that it SHOUTS- Strength and Victory. It states that being and Overcomer is possible! As does the Book Etched in Sand.

Everyone should read a book like this and realize how some children are treated in supposedly a Christian nation. I pity that mother when she stands before God at the Judgement. This book was fantastically written with heart.
Unbroken: A Second Chance Romance :: Unbroken :: Unbroken (Shattered Promises, #2.5) (Volume 2) :: A Revolutionary New Way of Understanding Addiction :: Unbroken - A Bad Boy Billionaire Romance

An amazing story recounting the lives of children bringing up themselves (and each other) in a miserable family situation in the middle of a suburban small town precedes this book which furthers their lives hundreds of miles apart. You won't be able to put it down once started. Read Etched in Sand first.

A brave and powerfully written account of devastating childhood abuse, it is a triumph of the human spirit that enabled Rosie and her siblings to have not only survived but thrived . This inspiring book is well worth reading
