This is my second Robert Spire book. I enjoyed both of them very much. My only almost compliant is that when the story is in Vegas and other American places and about us, we refer to some things differently. For example we say while instead of whilest, and living room instead of lounge, cell or cell phone instead of mobile and windsheild instead of I can't remember what you called it. But enough nitpicking, keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the next book. I definitely recommend this book. Enjoy!

I wish this were a more realistic & interesting story. However, the scenarios don't stand up. One of the lead characters kills numerous people without any consideration of evidence left behind. It just doesn't make sense. It's almost comic-strip in nature. The author is obviously British & the characters (no matter what their nationality) are apparently British as well. "Wilst" is used so often in place of "while" that I forgot where I was. Punctuation is non-existent, or misplaced, so that it's hard to follow.
There is a redeeming feature: the science behind the story is fairly well researched & mostly accurate. This could have been so much more fun to read, so I haven't given up hope that maybe in the future there will be better efforts.

Too many errors (100+) to enjoy. Please see my comments on the combined work, Action-Thriller Compilation: Tipping Point and Impact Point,http://www.the store.com/gp/product/B007R8G4SK/ref=kinw_myk_ro_title. The stories could be good but there are way to many errors and they prevent you from gliding through what might be a good read.

Discovered by chance, which was a blessing.
A well researched and paced novel. The main characters are well developed, and the multiple plot lines are stealthily set up in the first section of the book.
Then it takes off.
There are many other reviews that give more detail about the plot, so I will not regurgitate that information.
Many of the locations in Wales I know, and am familiar with, but the prose put me right there.
Needless to say, kept me up late page flicking on my kindle app.

Well Done!!!! The time allocated to your research is indicative of the result of this novel. I enjoyed your integration of the good and evil; love and lost; mystery and adventure; victory and defeat. You included every aspect of what a reader may be seeking in reading novels such as this. I think it plants the seed that there are others out there in the universe, and there will always good and evil. I hope that the good will always survive. Looking forward to your further offerings.

This book is somewhat more of a "masculine" read than I usually choose. But, it proved to be a really great book! It deals with a real-life situation and is totally believable!! Definitely look forward to more books from this author and would definitely recommend this book!!

Rosser's story was a page turner.
From action adventure to deep scientific research, Impact Point had it all.
It was also free of annoying typos or fragmented sentences you sometimes see with ebooks.
I'll be on the lookout for his next Robert Spire novel.

I very much liked the story.....it held my attention and kept me turning the pages. I might add that Simon's knowledge of offshore drilling vessels and drilling practices lacks a lot. His descriptions and terminology were very confusing and in many instances just plane wrong. But looking past that, I enjoyed the read very much.
