This book had be sucked in from the beginning. The characters were very well written and the story line hilarious and sweet. Found myself literally laughing out loud through most of it. If you need a “feel good/pick me up” kind of book, this is it. Great job by the author.

Meh. Had potential yet soon became another trite and boring contemporary romance attempting at humor but falling short. Still, had some bright spots that kept me reading so it made for a decent time filler.

I realize Poppy was supposed to come across as fun and sarcastic, but she just came across as bitchy, mean, shallow, entitled, and spoiled with no real redeeming qualities. Adam deserves so much better, because he seemed like a great guy and I liked him.
The set up was that her family is crazy and her mom is controlling and difficult, but it all seemed pretty tame to me, which made Poppy come across as more bitchy and selfish for being put out that she actually had to help at the wedding and spend time with her family. Maybe my mother just happens to be super controlling and selfish, and my family is particularly crazy, but the mother seemed pretty reasonable considering the circumstances and the family antics weren’t really funny or crazy or anything that I would have been embarrassed by.
There were a lot, I mean a lot, of typos and several instances of wrong names being used. Definitely needed better proofreading. (I paid for this, not an ARC) I can usually overlook this, but it was so frequent, it was irritating.
Finally, in one of the few chapters devoted to Adam, he insinuates there is some secret he is keeping from her, but then it never comes up again. So that was confusing, and frankly, a little disappointing. Because (Spoiler) the only thing that keeps them apart is that she’s too stubborn to admit her feelings. Which made me like her even less.
Not worth the $3.99.

Fun story, lots of snappy dialogue. However, why do so many romance writers think it is ok to publish with grammatical and other errors? At a minimum, you would expect the names of the characters to be accurate. Few readers call out authors on errors - do the readers not notice (that says a lot for the future of the English language) or just not care?

I really was excited about this book, and am totally disappointed. The Author is trying way to hard to make poppy “funny” it’s too much, every other sentence is poppy being “sarcastic “ which comes off as trying way too hard. I’m returning the book :(

Poppy Dunn, queen of all things awkward and lover of sarcasm and snarky t-shirts needs a date to her sister’s wedding. Caught staring at her one night stand as he was laying in bed sleeping, she decides to out her awkwardness even more by asking if he’ll be her fake boyfriend for the four day wedding festivities. No one could have been more shocked than Poppy when the incredibly sexy Adam says yes.
Adam Winters really isn’t sure why he agrees to be a fake boyfriend, but there is just something about the sassy and sarcastic redhead that has him intrigued. Especially since she has no idea who he really is. Of course, the rest of her hockey loving family finds him instantly recognizable the moment Poppy introduces him as her date.
With wedding festivities in full swing, Poppy and Adam will need to keep up their charade in order to fool Poppy’s extremely suspicious and incredibly cunning mother as well as the rest of her family including her bridezilla sister, her flask hiding & whiskey drinking father and her grandpa that tells inappropriate stories to anyone that will listen . . . all while remembering this is just a four day fling!
I’ve been a fan of Emma Hart’s romantic comedies for a while now, but Four Day Fling is my absolute favorite to date. Honestly, this book is comedic gold on so many levels and is laugh out loud funny.
When Poppy says she’s awkward, she isn’t kidding. And, it doesn’t help that she has a love for inappropriate and snarky t-shirts and always speaks her mind, often saying whatever sarcastic thought that pops in their without first thinking it through. While her sarcasm shines, we also see that hidden beneath her snark is someone that really loves her family and wants her sister to have a fabulous wedding. She’s also incredibly comfortable with Adam from the get go allowing her true self , other than her real feelings about him, out in the open for him to see.
Adam is perfect boyfriend material. He’s sexy and attentive and even knows how to charm Poppy’s family. He’s also witty and matches Poppy’s personality and sarcasm perfectly. Honestly, this book has some of the best banter between a couple I have ever read! Adam’s also a genuinely good guy who takes time to talk to his fans, support those he cares about and has a hidden romantic streak.
Amidst the comedy of this book is a super hot romance between Poppy and Adam. Their attraction levels are off the charts and instantaneous. It’s easy for everyone other than Poppy and Adam to see they are meant to be much more than a fling. Neither wants to fall, but it simply happens. Now, they just need to admit that to each other.
I’ve got nothing but love and happiness for this book as it left with all the feels, even as I giggled and looked up snarky t-shirts on the web and was reminded about all of my own quirky relatives and awkward family events. 5 stars!

Emma Hart did a fabulous job at reaching her readers with heart, soul and humor! This book was fantastically funny and a total romantic comedy.. It was amazing tgat the charachters expressed so much emotions and above all else familiarity. It was a very humbling read.
Poppy Dunne is the most awkward spitfire who has no filter. Yet, her personality is the highlight of this entire book. Her spunk, bravery and non untimitading persona is unique and to die for. Its no wonder that Adam Winters is not only attracted to her but he is smitten. Poppy is by far the most peculiar yet interesting individual that Adam has ever met. After a one night stand and Poppy is caught "staring" at a sleeping Adam, she presents him with an offer he simply can't refuse. However, neither of them have any idea what thia offer has in store for them anf they both find themselves in a situation neither was prepared for.
I absolutely loved this book. It was everything and more with a total comedy included. The supporting characters were just as intriguing as the hero and heroine. Simply fantastic!

Four Day Fling is Emma Hart’s next hilarious rom-com. I just love the snarky, badass, and sassy characters she brings into my TBR list. I stopped reading the synopsis of her books long ago. I like being surprised by the antics her characters get themselves into. Poppy, well, she tops the list when it comes to the awkward.
When Adam woke up to his one night stand at the end of his bed staring at him. He definitely didn’t think she’d be asking him to be her fate boyfriend to her sister’s wedding. Who does that? Apparently, this awkwardly witty redhead did. And he was all in. Why not? She gets a date to keep her mom off her back and he gets to spend it with Poppy on hers. It’s a win-win, really. That was until he got there. That was when the real fun began...
Poppy warned him. Her family is crazy. Like, should be locked up crazy especially when all together for four days with the alcohol flowing. To her surprise, he didn’t run off on the first day. Hell, she wanted to. But, then she wouldn’t get to have her fun with his magical cock or wicked tongue. They didn’t know much about each other but they knew how to get the other to come. That’s all they really needed to know, right? It was just a weekend fling then off they go in separate directions. What she didn’t realize was that her family would love him. Why, you ask? Because he was a hockey God and her family was obsessed with the game. She was so screwed...
Because she liked him too. Not because he was a hockey God. Shoot, she didn’t even know he played the game. She didn’t follow sports. She followed baseball pants only because those did things to a woman. Ok, back to her liking him. He made her laugh. He got her shirts. He didn’t run away from her attitude, he shut her up with kisses. Still, it was only going to be four days of witty, sexy, and fake fun. So, why did it feel so real?
OMFG! This book is hysterical. Yes, Poppy is over the top but that was why I loved her. She was herself. She is also more than she thinks she is. You have to read the book to understand that. Then there is Adam. I fell for him. Hard. It was easy to. He has the perfect blend of sweet, funny, sexy, and cocky. Together, their banter is unreal. Their chemistry is hot. Their story is so them.
Overall...if you need to good laugh, ideas for the greatest t-shirts, and a love story to make you feel good, read this book! It not only will make you laugh and flushed. It will make you appreciate your loved ones.
Quotes:
“You got it, Red.”
“Red? What kind of a name is that?”
“The kind I give to a redhead whose name I can’t remember,” he said simply, hitting the start button on his impressively big coffee machine.
Oh, thank God. It wasn’t just me.
He tasted of whiskey and coke, and he smelled like my next big mistake.
“My shirt says I don’t give a s- what yours says.”
“You’re not wearing a shirt.”
“I know. Aren’t you lucky? You can feel these abs all day long.”

Poppy Dunn is definitely my favorite kind of heroine because she embraces her awkwardness and her sassiness, and she isn’t afraid to be who she is and say what she feels regardless of who she might offend. In my opinion, Poppy is most women’s snarky and inappropriate inner self - the one who they would love to bring out into the open but can’t for fear of how other people will react and/or how they will be perceived.
Between her hilarious graphic tees with funny and sarcastic sayings and how freely Poppy is with her mouth, she’s truly a genuine person and while she may seem like a hot mess most of the time, she holds things together more than she thinks and proves to be a breath of albeit smarta** air.
Poppy and Adam’s story, Four Day Fling, opens up with another awkward moment in the life of Poppy Dunn, but the morning after what was meant to be a one-night stand proves to be the start of a beautiful four-day fake relationship, well except for the off-the-charts sex, but in true Poppy fashion, the reality of who she asked to be her fake boyfriend remains unknown to her until her hockey fanatic family lets her in on who her one-night stand/four day bedmate/fake boyfriend and it’s none other than Adam Winters, star forward for the Orlando Storms, making things even more awkward and way more complicated than Poppy could have anticipated.
Being a professional athlete is definitely not conducive for being in any kind of romantic relationship, which means that Adam Winters is all for one and done connections, but for some reason, he accepts Poppy’s offer of hot sex in exchange for posing as her boyfriend to prevent her mother from judging her even more than she already does.
Poppy’s crazy family is a huge part of the story line and they are responsible for an array of funny antics, inappropriate discussions, and nitpicking comments that threaten to make Poppy’s sister ‘bridezilla,’ her grandfather even more crazy than he already was, and her mother in need of a Xanax or two in order to make her chill out and to keep her unaware of the reality of Poppy and Adam’s relationship.
Every time I read one of Emma Hart’s romantic comedies, I know I’m going to get a hilarious, somewhat awkward and definitely steamy read with a hero and heroine who have a stronger connection than they want to admit and a crew of supporting characters who add to the already established mischief and chaos created by the main characters.
I really enjoyed Poppy and Adam’s story and the fact that it was more than obvious just how real things were between them from the start, and as they attempt to make it through the four day wedding extravaganza what they need to figure out is if their fling can become a forever despite how it all began.

Some kisses were fairytale ones. Heart-thumping, foot-popping, soul-sighing kisses. I'd always imagined mine would be on a first date or under a sunset after the "L" word. But, no. My fairytale kiss, my heart-thumping, foot-popping, soul-sighing kiss was standing in a parking lot next to a car full of three hundred dollars' worth of strawberries, with a guy who was kissing me to shut my smart mouth up.
This story was like the perfect blend of awkward & clumsy situations, family dysfunction, and hilarity. Now, I know you imagined you were walking into a love story here, but this was so much more than that -- it was a romantic comedy of epic proportions.
The Characters
Poppy. This girl! I see so much of myself in her, okay .. mostly the clumsy parts. Poppy is not afraid to say whatever she's thinking, she's always got something clever to say, is OBSESSED with snarky graphic tees, and seems to be the "doctor" of awkward. At every turn it seems she said or did something to make me shake my head or laugh out loud. She is one of the funniest female characters!
Adam. Holy hotness. This man is not only all the good things you'd want in a partner, he also draws the eye of any female within sight. "Red. Pay attention." Adam clapped his hands sharply. "Oh my God, if you want me to focus, get ugly or something!" This man, though, seemed to have the patience of a saint dealing with Poppy and her family. This man is definitely #goals when seeking out my future man.
Poppy's family & friends. OH MYLANTA! I'm not sure I could survive in a family like this one! I've never seen such a huge batch of crazy all in one place. Some of my favorite moments were with these people.
The Story
The basis of this story is one night stands turns into wedding date. This would probably be okay if you weren't spending four days in the constant company of your family only knowing the first name of your "boyfriend" and what he looks like without clothes. This dynamic makes some awkward moments even more awkward and leads to some hilariously confusing situations.
The love story here was good. I loved that not everything came together easily and that both of these characters were too stubborn to just try things out. Eventually it takes some interesting plots and secret maneuvering to finally get these two past their stubbornness.
"I told you I'd slow down if I found the person worth slowing down for."
I nodded again.
"I'd already found her," he said softly. "She's you."

NO SPOILERS!
Emma Hart brought it again with another fun, flirty, and hilarious standalone romantic comedy in Four Day Fling, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters were wonderful, and I loved Emma Hart's writing style and sense of humor. Four Day Fling has been my favorite rom-com from Ms. Hart this year, and I can't wait to read more!
The storyline was great. The fake boyfriend/wedding date trope wasn't a new concept, but I loved Emma Hart's take on it. Between the witty banter, a dysfunctional family, and sassy and sarcastic characters, the plot was immensely entertaining from beginning to end. I know other romantic comedy lovers won't be disappointed.
The characters were hilarious and nothing short of entertaining. Adam and Poppy were a match made in sarcastic heaven, and I loved them so much. Adam was more rational of the two, but still sweet, funny, and charming. Poppy was a feisty, sassy, and sarcastic heroine you couldn't help but love. She and Adam made a perfect couple, and it was a delight watching their story unfold. I loved their personalities and chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Adam and Poppy's point of view, although I would've loved more chapters from Adam's perspective, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. There were a few areas that I would've loved more from, specifically more romance and sexy times between Adam and Poppy. They clicked right from the start, but I still would've loved a deeper connection between them. Poppy's family and friends were pieces of work, but they definitely added to the entertainment factor of the story. All in all, Four Day Fling was a funny and entertaining romantic comedy, and I was very happy with the conclusion to Adam and Poppy's story.
Four Day Fling was a humorous and entertaining standalone romantic comedy, and I would definitely recommend it! Emma Hart did an excellent job with this book, and I was very pleased with the outcome to Adam and Poppy's story. Four Day Fling has been my favorite romantic comedy from Emma Hart this year, and I can't wait to read her next one, Best Served Cold!

A cute fake relationship romance! Four Day Fling was a good novel. This book is a stand-alone book. I really enjoyed the plot and characters in this book. If you like a quirky heroine with a hot as sin man, then this book is for you. Add in the family drama and a secret and you have the perfect recipe for disaster.
I really enjoyed the plot of this book. Fake relationships are a favorite trope of mine. There is just always that element of telling yourself it is fake that means you will fall for that person. It is inevitable, at least in books. This story was no different. I loved the way the author wrote this plot. I loved even more that it was set in Florida. I live in Florida so it made it more personal for me.
Poppy is a fiery red head with an attitude and a personality one could only explain as awkward. I loved that about her. She isn’t the perfect girl or someone well sought after. That really endeared me to her. Plus her t-shirt collection? I need one of those. Then you have Adam. He is hot, but he is way more than that. He has an inner beauty that I was happy to see.
The heat in this book is there from the very beginning. The author was sure to make this arrangement in a way that the heat would have time to burn until the very end. Add in the personality of both characters? You get one hot novel that makes you want to root for the characters.
The writing style of this book is good. Most of it is set over a short amount of time, but it doesn’t feel rushed. It felt organic. I loved most everything about this book. My only complaint is that I felt that for me personally it was a little anticlimactic. It was a great book, don’t get me wrong. I just felt for me, I would have liked a little more.
Overall, this was an amazing book. I would read it again and recommend it to others as well. I really enjoyed the characters. I also loved the realistic family dynamics in the story. I think that is what I liked most about it actually. I could see that being my family. For that, I gave this book 5 stars.

This is my first book by the author and I was pleasantly surprised with her writing style. I really enjoyed this contemporary standalone romantic comedy with eccentric and lovable characters.
Poppy, a waitress at a local diner met Adam at a bar when on a night out with her best friend Avery. Poppy is a fiery-tempered, sassy redhead, as clumsy as one can get with a self-deprecating sense of humour. Her supposedly one night stand with Adam ended her asking him to be her date for her sister’s wedding weekend. It is when Adam gets to meet her family that everything goes very interesting.
One thing that attracted Adam to Poppy was her brutal honesty and her hilarious wit. He wasn’t exactly straightforward with who he was when he agreed to their pretend fling. There is something about Poppy that makes him agree to whatever she asked of him including their deal. Surely nothing can go wrong with the “special friends” with benefits kind of arrangement, can it?
When I read this book, I didn’t look much into the author’s style so I sort of jumped in blind. This light-hearted love story gives you almost everything: a handsome and dashing sports hero in Adam, a funny, clumsy and gorgeous Poppy and her totally unconventional family members, especially Grandpa.
“Why do you keep calling me sir? I’m not a knight.”
“I was just being polite,” Adam said.
Grandpa barked a laugh and pointed at him. “I know! I’m ******* with you!”
This funny story of a one night stand turned into a weekend fling is filled with witty banter between the characters and hilarious situations, an angst-free tale that makes this book one of the best romcoms I’ve read. The fast-paced storyline is in sync with the strong and memorable comedic protagonists. Poppy and Adam’s off the charts chemistry is combustible enough to melt your knickers. Will they make it as a pretend couple during the weekend without the family finding out? What happens after the weekend is over? If you are in a book funk and you need something to cheer you up, Adam and Poppy’s story is the perfect therapy.

Since making romantic comedies her main jam, author Emma Hart is absolutely killing it. Smart and spunky heroines with plenty of sass, smart, sexy, and inevitably long-suffering heroes, and storylines that leave me highly entertained, there is nothing not to love about these books. FOUR DAY FLING, the latest from Emma, is a riot, a sexy, funny, steamy read that hooked me from the very first page.
The thing that makes this story so delicious, I think, is that Poppy shares a lot of personality with her creator. This is someone that I would love to spend time with, because I know, without a doubt, that she'd have me laughing about 95 percent of the time. Poppy wears her individuality well, and it's laugh-out-loud funny to read about her shenanigans.
I absolutely adore Adam, too. I mean, brains, hot as all get-out, and a trophied hockey player to boot? Sign me up. And, incidentally, I'm with Poppy, and would probably have had no earthly idea who this man was. All the better to get to know the real him, right?
FOUR DAY FLING made my week, and is an easy 4.5 star read for me. If you're looking for a book that will leave you smiling, this is it, so grab your copy and enjoy.

Don't miss Four Day Fling! Fake relationship books can be hit or miss, but Four Day Fling is absolutely perfect! It's funny, it's witty, it's full of great secondary characters, and the pull between Adam and Poppy is magnificent!
I love that the book opens the morning after a one-night-stand, and neither of them remember the other's name. Things just get better from there when Poppy asks Adam to be her date to her sister's wedding the following weekend -- only to find out when she's immersed them both into the crazy that he is the favorite hockey god of both her dad and nephew.
Every time I thought things couldn't get more awkward -- or more ridiculous with Poppy's out of control family -- they did! But none of it felt forced, despite the hella awkward situations Poppy finds herself in over and over again. There is a great flow to the storyline, and I was screaming at my kindle for these two to just confess the way they were really feeling before their four-day weekend was over.

This book was hilarious!! The description saying that Poppy is awkward was spot on. Like honestly I don't know how her family kept from killing her as a child but I relate to her on a personal level. Poppy decides it would be a good idea to ask her one-night-stand to be her date to her sister's weekend wedding. The only problem is she doesn't know anything about him and though that doesn't seem to be a problem when she was formulating the plan, when it becomes an actuality she realizes the error of her ways. Her date is none other than hockey super star, Adam Winters. And in true Poppy fashion she is the only one in her family that doesn't know that. But it's not like she expected him to say "yes" to attend the wedding. Seriously. Who does that?
This book was a quick read and just a true delight to read. I am a fan of any book that has a great combination of sass and sarcasm and a true dislike for being around people. I was in tears at some points because I was laughing so hard. The wit that is shown in this novel is fantastic. Definitely a must read for anyone looking for a pick-me-up.

Four Day Fling is another winner with its flirty, fun, sassy and sexy in this standalone romantic comedy. Poppy and Adam have a one night stand and she decides to ask him to be her date to her sister’s wedding and have him pretend to be her fake boyfriend. Poppy thinks what could go wrong with something so simple and straight forward. Oh this is a story that is full of humor, sizzling heat, connection and just a feel good read. It’s a fake relationship trope with the main characters that go from fake to real that comes off naturally. The plot flows, the characters are believable and you root for them. Poppy and Adam's whirlwind relationship was such an emotional rollercoaster but what a way to go. I loved how they stood as a team against a member of Poppy’s family. This is a perfect summer read for it has all the elements that I look for in a great read- drama, angst, chemistry, humor , passion and love. If you are looking for sizzling read with slices of comedy and humor, this is a must read!!!

Poppy is trying to sneak out to avoid the awkwardness of facing her one-night stand but when she sees him watching her she knows that ship has sailed. They decide to share breakfast even if they don’t know each other’s names and Poppy figures she has nothing to lose so she asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend for her sister’s wedding, so she can avoid the wrath of her family.
Adam is attracted to the quirky, sassy redhead and likes the fact that she isn’t impressed by his career or his wealth. He had a great time last night, so he figures this is a great way to spend more time with her. When he meets her crazy family and realizes that he is spending four days with them it’s a wonder he didn’t run for the hills.
These two are perfect for each other as while she is a ball of fire he is her calming force and he handles her wacky family with ease which is helped by the fact that he is a hockey player that they adore. Humorous banter, hot chemistry and great secondary characters make this a story you won’t be able to put down. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book was such an enjoyable, slow burn, fake relationship romance.
Poppy is in desperate need of a fake boyfriend to take to her sister's wedding. She decides to ask her one night stand if he will go with her, and he agrees. As events play out, Poppy realizes she is the only person at the wedding who does not know who her date is. This realization makes for hilarious banter, quick, witty comebacks, and a lot of fun, exciting scenes.
I thought that Poppy was a character who stayed true to herself. She knew she was the black sheep of the family and played her part. Only we learn throughout the book, that she is more the glue that holds the family together than black sheep.
Adam was such a good sport. He went along with everything that was asked of him and devoted his time to help Poppy out during her crazy situation. He was such a gentleman and never once thought that he could be anywhere but by her side.
If you love fun, witty, quick reads, this book is definitely for you.

In Four Day Fling, the author takes a familiar story line but gives us a sweet and delightful twist. A one night stand turns into a wacky, crazy weekend where the heart grows fonder against their better judgment.
We’re introduced to Poppy, who is by all accounts crazy. High maintenance and just rather wacky but she is better at managing life than her sister and her mother, if that means anything. But she tends to endear herself to us and I love how Adam can completely balance her emotions.
And this guy, Adam – what a saint. If it hadn’t been for growing up with four sisters, there’s no way he would survive the craziness in the story. He’s sweet and kind and you can just feel the connection that they have together, even though they tried to deny it.
Funny, wacky, sexy, along with all of the sweet heat and love we look for in this young adult rom-com. Emma has crafted a lighthearted and endearing story that leaves you begging for more.
It makes you wonder who’s next …

Emma Hart is the queen of romantic comedy and Four Day Fling is one of her best! I laughed out loud throughout the entire book and I just could not put it down!
Poppy and Adam’s banter from the first chapter was absolutely hilarious and had me giggling from the start. Poppy being so awkward and sassy was rounded out by Adam’s ability to push her buttons and give just as good as he gets. Their conversations are one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever read! Throw in a really dysfunctional family and the fact that Poppy’s entire family knows that Adam’s a professional hockey player (and she doesn’t), well, it’s a disaster just waiting to happen and the way this couple handles it is completely priceless!
Poppy and Adam are entertaining as hell! Hilarious dialogue, chemistry that jumps right of the pages, sexiness that had me swooning, and a relationship that may not be as fake as they thought had me falling head over heels for this couple. If you want a lighthearted, funny romantic comedy, then Four Day Fling is for you!

This book is absolutely hilarious! I laughed from start to finish and loved every minute of it. Adam is plenty swoon-worthy, and the perfect person for Poppy. He's a down-to-earth guy who hasn't let his success go to his head. Growing up with 4 sisters, he's pretty well-versed when it comes to female behavior. Although there some times when Poppy was so over-the-top he seemed overwhelmed, but not in a negative way.
What can I say about Poppy? She's a trip (with luggage), with no filter and full of snark and sassiness; but again, not in a negative way. She might call it self-preservation, readers might call her a hot mess. But somehow Adam had her pegged about her character after only a couple of days. And her family are almost as funny, with the exception of her mother (that woman is on a level all by herself).
The chemistry between Adam and Poppy is electric right from the start and doesn't fade, and I liked how the subsequent meeting that took place some weeks after the wedding played out.

Four Day Fling is the perfect summer read, full of sexy, flirty fun! The cover is what immediately caught my attention, and once I read the blurb I knew I had to check it out. And I definitely wasn't disappointed!
Poppy is one of the sassiest characters I've read, and I adored her. She is the epitome of awkward, and her family is worse. Dateless to her sisters wedding, she decides to ask the worst possible person -her one night stand. Even more surprising? He says yes!
Adam has no plans for the weekend, so he figures being a fake wedding date could be fun. Too bad he has no idea what he's getting himself into.
Full of witty banter, embarrassing family moments, and hysterical mishaps, this book will keep you laughing the entire time. The characters are amazing, from Poppy & Adam's tangible chemistry, to Grandpa's drunken stories. I would love another book just to get more from these characters!

This was a really good read! The writing flowed well, and I would have made it 5 stars if only Poppy was toned down just a little. I don't mind sarcasm at all, and most of the time she was okay. But, there were those times that she was just straight b**chy, not sarcastic, and it wasn't like it was warranted. I wanted to smack her a few times. I felt sorry for Adam several times, and wasn't sure why he kept trying. Now, when Poppy wasn't over the top, they made a cute couple. I thought they had great chemistry together, and I loved the interactions with Poppy's family. I was a little confused over one thing though. When they were at the wedding, Adam acts like he's hiding something from Poppy. It's never mentioned again, and not sure what the point was. I thought the ending was cute! This was a first for me from this author, but I will definitely be reading her again!

I absolutely loved this book!!! It was so hilarious and awkward and cute and did I mention hilarious!!! I am in love with Poppy like she is just so me it isn’t even funny besides the red hair!!! I love how she just doesn’t get a sh$t what anyone thinks of her. She says what she thinks but she’s so awkward it’s not even funny(but it is). Adam is so adorable and charming and a hero. And he really helps Poppy out of a jam. But of course he gets something out of it too, I mean he is a guy after all. But when the fake starts feeling real what happens? I won’t lie I had a couple moments where I couldn’t see the screen from a little leakage in my eyes. But overall this book will have you on your a$$ with all the drama that this family can throw out!! I absolutely loved it and I am already planning a reread! - By Tina

I absolutely loved Adam and Poppy’s story. They were so easy going about their situation when they made plans to have Adam attend her sisters wedding as her plus one. But things got truly interesting once they arrived for the start of the weekend.
Poppy and Adam had me grinning throughout the story. From their teasing, sexy banter, Poppy’s sass and sweet moments it was easy to fall for these characters. I can tell you I was truly pulling for them the whole time.
Emma is truly on top of her Rom-Com game with this story. She keeps you engaged throughout the story and makes you vested in the characters and their plight. Once again she gives us an entertaining family as secondary characters to add a little fun to the story.

What a fun read this was. The banter between Poppy and Adam was so much fun to read. I loved Poppy's sarcasm and how she had everything and everyone under control even when she didn't realised it.
As for Adam; that man can do no wrong. I loved everything about him. He loved how her mind worked and he just wanted her for him.
"Something." That was one way to describe Poppy Dunn. And, weirdly, probably the most accurate. Because she was. She was something. I just wanted that "something" to be mine."
This was a great summer read which shows us that it is possible to fall for someone in a short period of time. I highly recommend it ?

"Something." That was one way to describe Poppy Dunn. And, weirdly, probably the most accurate. Because she was. She was something. I just wanted that "something" to be mine."
This was a great summer read which shows us that it is possible to fall for someone in a short period of time. I highly recommend it ?

Four Day Fling
**received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Poppy needs a date to her sisters wedding and her one night stand seems like the perfect candidate. Little does she know that a four Day wedding could be so interesting...
Every book of Emma Hart’s gets better and better! This book had everything, it was fun, flirty, sexy and had enough drama in the mix to keep you wanting more. The interaction between Poppy and Adam was awesome and as their relationship evolved you could help but root for them. This is definitely a must read and needs to be on your TBR list today!

This was a hilarious literally laugh out loud funny read!! I found myself turning pages as quickly as I could because I wanted to see what was going to come out of Poppy’s mouth. She was a sassy, smart mouth woman lacking a filter most of the time. I just loved her shirts that describe her mood. Her meeting up with the hunky man candy by accident was absolutely perfect for her as u learn her personality throughout the book. Adam is extremely swoony & the way he loves her snarky attitude was perfect. I just loved reading their story & hope others do too. I highly recommend this book.

I recently bought a new t-shirt with the quote “Classy, Sassy and a bit smartassy” - that describes how I Think of this book perfectly!
Emma Hart is the Queen of snarky, funny book moments and that is why I love picking up her books - because they are sure to make me smile and often laugh out loud.
Her books are always well written and with a plot that is workrider through in details maling it all happen smoothly and without big bumps in the reading.
If you need a good laugh, a by-the-side-of-the-pool-summer-book then look no further - this is the one.

Get ready to laugh out loud with this fake boyfriend rom-com. Poppy was freaking hilarious from beginning to end and a fun heroine to read. Adam was such a good sport and not what Poppy expected. It was a fun quirky read with crazy family members, lol. It was a refreshing read and one I recommend when you need a good pick me upper.
The funniest was their meeting and how their fake relationship came about. Poppy has no filter and is so awkward majority of the times it’s funny. Adam was calm cool and collected despite his popularity. He and Poppy were the perfect balance.

I LOVED this book! Poppy is everything, I had no idea Adam was a hockey player going in (neither did Poppy) and finding that out made him even more hot (and somehow more adorable too?), and I even loved the family drama that came with attending the wedding (I even loved how much I hated Poppy's mom). Their story was funny, sexy, and just so much fun! Emma Hart has been a go-to author for me for a while, but after a couple of just okay releases for me, Four Day Fling has fully restored my faith in her as a Rom-Com queen! 4.5 out of 5 wine glasses.
