Razor's Edge (Shadow Stalkers Book 1)

I have just about everything Sylvia Day has written and have enjoyed reading them immensely, but sadly I won't be purchasing this series. What are books coming too? We pay $1 or more for every 25 pages or so and by the time the story is complete we've shelled out $15-$20, if not more. I'm all for a continuing series (like the Crossfire Series), but each release should be a full length novel, not piddly bread crumbs to try to suck you in. Can you imagine what we would have paid for Gideon and Eva's story if it were released 50-75 pages at a time?

In most cases with these 'chapter books' the editing is horrible (although I will admit that I haven't come across this in SD's books, but I don't have any eBooks of hers either). It's as if the price is going up and the quality is going down. How can we stop this horrible trend?

I am all for eBooks. I think they're fantastic and convenient. I still prefer bound paper in my hands but I do have hundreds of eBooks as well. Having said that I believe that we shouldn't be cheated on our purchases.

So who do we contact to voice our opinions on this trend? The Authors? The Publishers? Hmmmmm

Love this novella. Its a fun story. Rachel and Jack are a fun and sexy couple. Ooh wee. Rachel is determined to get her man! And she definitely does. Short and sweet story. So glad you can buy it individually instead of getting the anthology. This was the first of the Shadow Stalkers. Rachel is the widow of Steve, Jack's best friend, and shes liked Jack a long time now. Lots of history with this couple. And it works. Another great read from Ms. Day.
