A Shade of Kiev

This book was a very welcome edition to the Shade series as I always thought Kiev was a character that needed a story. I loved the twist and turns within the book and only a women like Mona could penetrate that thick skin of his. I am eagerly waiting on the next instalment as his story is far from over. Well done Bella on another captivating book.

Nice story. A great addition to the shade of vampire series. Just like the previous editions of a shade of vampire I couldn't stop reading once I started with the book. I can 't wait untill the next one is finished and ready to read. I like to learn more about Kiev and Mona, it is so addictive.

Kiev was fierce in the shade of vampire series. I expected more from him in his own series! Some of the story line was quite elementary. And the love story was tween at best. But I was entertained. I was just happy to be emerged back into the Bella Forest's imaginary world. Can't wait to read book 8 of the shade of Vampires series.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and wanted it to never end! It made me feel so sad for Kiev, Mona and even Mateo. I am trying to get my daughter's and close friend to read A Shade of Vampire series as I think they will love them as much as I do. I am starting book 9 and want to read the other Kiev books.

One other thing that vampires can survive on is milk. Milk comes from the body, it doesn't satisfiy but you can survive on it for lengthy periods of time. Now for a vampire why they don't eat other food is this. Taste. Meat tastes like dead metal. Vegetables taste rotten. Water tastes foul. Everything was bad until I found milk. I never tried blood out of love for the human race, or animals for that matter. But you are constantly thirsty, and hungry, but you can't eat solid food. I survived for 4 weeks before I was cured of vampirism. It's a real state of being. The only thing I eat or drunk I those weeks was milk. About 5 liters a day. I was so thirsty at the end but I survived. I started eating normal food again when the taste stopped being foul, I was cured of vampirism after 4 weeks of being one. It was a rl experience and I will never forget the hunger, the smells, and the pain of being a vampire. They are out there, how to spot one? A real one? They will smell like perfume without ever putting one on. They will look at YU with hunger and constantly talk about how good you smell. Hope this helps. I could tell u an infinite amount about them, but that will be for another day.
