Seventh Grave and No Body (Charley Davidson)

I absolutely love this series, and I think this book was the best one yet! The "no body" concept was a bit gratuitous and did not really add much to the plot, but the hellhound attacks were chilling and the overall storyline was excellent, as usual! We learned much more about Charley's "uniqueness" in this book and I can't wait for the next one!

This series just gets better and better. I absolutely loved this book! Charley and Reyes are such a great couple. I love the humor and the plot line is always so good. I am so glad I started reading this series when it came out, I look forward to the next one and have never been disappointed.

I love this series! The sarcasm and personalities of the characters are fabulous. Can not wait for the next installment and hate the possibility of the story being over. Great way to get away from the world for a while. I find myself laughing throughout the story and cheering for all that is Charley.

These books are progressivly good. We learn more about charley and her growing powers. Shes still stays mad at Reys all the time and continually puts the baby at risk, but it all makes for a good storyline and thats what we want because these books arent cheap.

This is another super read in the "Grave" series. They just keep getting better.

Darynda Jones' 7th installment in the Charley Davidson series is the best one yet. We've finally learned some vital pieces of information that the series has been building to since day 1. And the ending left me dying for the next book! Can't wait to see what comes next for Charley and Reyes.

another great story. loved that they finally tied the knot an the story will continue now that Charlie is, prego! can't wait to read more about Charlie an Revees as they continue to the next chapter in there lives.shows what a great story teller Darynda Jones is!

This is a great series. I enjoyed the Anita Blake series but it started to peter out. I love the Odd Thomas series, by Dean Koontz, I would compare the Charlie Davidson by Darynda Jones is in the same league!!

The grim reaper, demons, ghosts, faithful friends and family. The elements of this book are dramatic, sometimes funny but always absorbing. I look forward to the next book. This series is worth your time but go back and start at the first book.

This book series is well written, exciting and keeps you flipping pages as fast as you can to see what happens next. The characters are well developed and so much fun to follow. I can hardly wait for the next book each time I finish one! Please keep them coming!

This book is outstanding. I cannot get enough of Charley and Reyes love story! The paranormal aspect is amazing. What an exceptional author! I have read all the books in this series and recommend them to romance readers as well as paranormal fans.

I spend through reading the rest of the series, and waited for this one to continue...now it's over too fast and I'm waiting again!! but definitely her books are worth it. love the characters, the dialogue, the plot twists. great series.

I was pleasantly surprised when "Mr. Wong's" place in Charley's life was revealed. As well as the reason for the hell hounds "job" in her life.
I look forward to the next book to continue her journey to save the world from the evils waiting to destroy it.

By far the best installment of this series. The story never lagged, even tied together seamlessly, and yet still questions were left unanswered. I adore Osh, I feel he's pivotal in installments to come. Cannot wait until the next one.

My only complaint....it was too short!!! I want more, more, more Charley Davidson! Without a doubt, the best series ever. The characters are so well developed and the storyline so intriguing (not to mention just plain fun) that I don't know how I can possibly wait for #8. So please, Ms Jones, write fast!!

Seriously the best one yet!!! If you haven't read this series you need to start. You won't regret it. Carly is absolutely hilarious and Reyes is every woman's fantasy. Together they make a great team!!! Can't wait for the next one.

Each book just as addictive as the last. Jones knows how to capture her audience and leave them wanting more. :-)

A must read series!!!

Another great book in the Grave series. Charley Davidson is having a heck of a time, her father is missing, 12 deadly creatures are after her, and she is pregnant without coffee. Not a good combination.

This series keeps getting better and better , if that's possible. These characters all rock I wish that she would write faster. Lucky is the person first starting this series as they get to read seven of them nonstop.

Highly entertaining, had me laughing out loud. Our heroine, Charlotte Davidson, goes by the nickname Charley, I'll just let that sink in a moment, shall I, is a grim reaper. Ghosts pass through her on their way to the other side, the good one. Usually, dead people pass on to their reward or punishment without needing to use her as a portal, but there are those with unfinished business and she assists them,

Charley is also a private investigator with ADD, an evil stepmother, an almost estranged sister, a father she adores. She also have a best friend, Cookie, and this friendship is rock solid. These women would do anything for each other and I appreciate that. They accept each other 100%.

Charley names things. Her cherry red Jeep Wrangler is Misery, "but not like the book."Her sofa is named Sophie. She has named her skull Fred, her brain Barbara, her right breast Danger, her left breast, Will Robinson, her right ovary Beam Me Up, and her left ovary Scotty. She has named another body part Virginia and I'll let that soak in a minute, shall I.

In a corner of her living room, there is a ghost she has named Mr. Wong who never moves out of the corner and is levitating a few inches off the floor. Mr. Wong never speaks, never leaves the corner.

There are several intriguing men in these books, her father and his brother, her Uncle Bob, Garret, a skip tracer/bonds enforcement, agent, Donavan, a biker and his group, Osh, a soul-eating demon, and our hero, Reyes, and I'll him surprise you, shall I.

Gotta tell you there is a series and I have only read the first eight before the remainder became too expensive for me. I think there are twelve out now. I'd love to read volumes nine through twelve. I obtained the first six for ninety-nine cents and because I was hooked paid a bit more for number seven and eight but I think this series is very popular and number twelve now costs $12.99. Yikes.

None of these are standalones. They must be read in order and it does get a bit tedious when the author repeats certain aspects of the back story in each of the volumes.

So much humor, so much loving friendship, tantalizing mysteries, pathos, these novels run a huge emotional gamut and I stayed with it through eight volumes because I just had to know what comes next.

The eighth volume ends this particular story arc and introduces a new one. Most annoyingly it ends on a cliffhanger.

The eight volumes are First Grave on the Right, Second Grave to the Left, Third Grave Dead Ahead, Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet, Fifth Grave Past the Light, Sixth Grave on the Edge, Seventh Grave and No Body, and Eighth Grave After Dark.

Love this series!! An amazing addition to an already wonderful series! Ms.jones I don't know where you get your ideas but keep them coming please. I will be impatiently waiting for the next book in the series!

I know lots of other readers were not impressed with this book, but I couldn't put it down!! I love the mystery and the humor and the gore all wrapped into one. Can't wait for the next book. And you're missing out if you pass this book by!!

Another great chapter in the Charley Davidson series. Even though I was annoyed with Charley at certain points for her whining and doubt, I'm glad she is coming into her powers. The dealer, Osh, is making me nervous. He seems to invested. Both loved and hated the end. Can't wait for the next boo.

Darynda Jones continues to keep me enthralled with Charley and Reyes! Each book has its own story but with the thread of the interlinking previous books. Well done Darynda! Can't wait until the next book.

This series makes my whole month happy when a new one comes out! I love Charlie, Reyes and the whole cast of characters... It's just so much fun to read and find out what comes next! Thanks D. Jones for writing such fun sexy characters, and I can't wait till the next one! ?

Jones is an excellent story teller. While I would love to see her works on the big screen, I fear her sarcasm and inner monologue would not translate well enough. Although I can't put her books down, I am always saddened when I come to the end.

I love this series. Charley Davidson has a killer sense of humor. Darynda Jones makes all the characters come to life on the page. And when you think there's no way she can make the next book as good as the last, she proves you wrong. Can't wait until the release of book 8 in April.
