Then and Now Bible Maps - Fold out Pamphlet

I cannot download the Free PDF file to my computer. When I go to the rose-publishing web site there is no place to enter the password to get the free PDF download. I have studied Bible maps from various sources for a long time, and use them frequently when I study Biblical history. I have several other books, and use online sources and Bibles with maps included. I find this book to be rather inaccurate in placing the cities when compared to the preponderance of other available sources. It also seems to only show the more well known and famous cities mentioned, rather than identifying as many places as have been identified that are mentioned in scripture. I've seen much more complete maps. This book may be handy for showing slides and "good enough" for the casual user or beginner in Bible studies, but I expected much more from a book devoted to Biblical maps. If you're going to compile a work on such a specific and narrow subject matter, you would think more effort would have been put into it.

It's beautifully printed, nice colors, clear words. However, I was hoping for maps of "then" that don't have any "now" on them, so I could compare, say, as borders changed and occupying countries took over, and names changed. What these maps have is an undefined red line outlining various areas (are these current country borders?) even back in the times of the Pharaohs. Also, the name Israel appears on the map all the way back to before the Exodus, when the area was Palestine, part of Egypt. Nowhere on any of these maps does the word "Palestine" appear. So pretty as they are, these maps did not help me with my research into the changing names and areas of the Biblical and then occupied times.

Simple and informative. Great reference to follow along with your daily scripture reading or study. Also download the pdf version from the publisher after you purchase the kindle edition. I highly recommended this map pamphlet.

This is great. It helps you to understand the territories mentioned in the Bible and the current names for those territories. It helps you to see the missionary journeys talked about in the Bible and the end time countries that will try to monopolize the world.
