Gosh, until now I never thought I’d find another author who would remotely come close to some of my all-time favorites - Daniel Silva, David Baldacci, Vince Flynn, James Patterson and Brad Thor. I'm so glad I found Tim Tigner to add to the list.

But in a kinder, gentler version of world politics. The author includes all the ingredients of technology, corruption, humor and philosophy as he weaves a tale that enlightens the reader to distinguish moral issues.

Tension mounts as an American ex-military private investigator becomes embroiled in deadly Russian political maneuvers that, if successful, could compromise governments and their leaders worldwide. Chilling possibilities.

Tim Tigner has become one of my very favorite authors in a very short period of time. This book, as his others, did not disappoint. Action-packed, good character development, and with an underlying message that we can't ignore.

Continent-hopping and some hard-to-pronounce Russian names, but Tigner has provided a "cheat sheet" at the beginning listing characters' relationships to each other and job titles to help readers keep track until we get better acquainted. Characters are well-fleshed out and the action is non-stop. Riveting and frightening.

Read in almost one single sitting! This was the first book I read from this author. Needless to say I am looking at reading all of his books now!
It's been a long while since I read such a page turner! Looking forward to more in the next!

I really, really liked this book. It captured my attention from beginning to end. I usually read before bed at night and I was sad last night when it had to end. It read like a true story, and I'm not sure the Soviets wouldn't have been able to pull off something as outlandish as the plot of this book. I would recommend this story to anyone who likes action, adventure, thrillers. I only gave it five stars because I couldn't give it six.

Excellent fiction interspersed with historical realism. The technical descriptions during the parachute drop was accurate, exciting, and suspenseful. In a nutshell a good read that was difficult to put down till the end.

IT's frightening to think how close to reality the plot of this novel could be. While some might doubt the long-range planning for such a plot is contrived, there are many parallels to actions taken by the former Soviet Union over the years.
