Last night, I stayed up past my bedtime to finish this book; it was that thrilling. I *had* to know how it was going to wrap up. This book makes you think and feel in exciting ways. It is full of suspense and intrigue and keeps you guessing the whole way through. And, it exhilarates, provokes, and surprises. In short, it delights. The dialogue is exceptional and, like the book itself, moves at a fast pace. Keen psychological insights are sprinkled throughout the book--adding compelling depth to the story. The writing is so good that it's hard to believe this is the author's debut novel. This book makes me eager for another book by this talented writer.

By far this is the most frightening and well written book I have ever read. The concept is all to real, hopefully the folks in charge are making plans. I've already started on the second book of this series, The War Stage.

Very complex charaters that evolve at a twisting yet pretty fast pace. This is the type of book that one will not willingly put down. Don't start reading it late at nihjt, thinking the book will lull you to sleep!!!!

I downloaded Warplanners a few weeks ago to my Kindle and it finally came up as my "next read". I was consumed for a coupe days, reading whenever I could. Can't wait for the rest of the story. Imaginative story that seems plausible in the current cyber-wars times. Highly recommend Warplanners for the thriller lovers.

Fabulous! Difficult to put down. Terrific action. Believable. Frightening to imagine something like this could possibly happen. Andrew Watts has a new follower; Can't wait for his next book. Highly recommended reading.

This one got me started, and I've read everything he's written. As a Viet Nam Navy vet and retired aerospace engineer, I really enjoyed his technical accuracy, plot twists and mind-blowing
story lines!

Character development and plot took a while to get going. However, I kept anticipating the next move by the characters in reading. As I read further, the pace accelerated and really got fun and interesting through the later stages of the book. All things considered, I really enjoyed the book and didn't want it to end.

Nicely done. Well written, good character development, very engaging. As mentioned by others, it does end abruptly, leaving you wanting to know what happens next. So within minutes of finishing this book I downloaded the sequel so I could get started.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was thankful that I started reading it after the next two books in the series were released, so I could read them straight through without a wait for the next installment. By the time I finished the third, the fourth was out! LUCKY ME!

I love reading during the summer and just could not find a book to keep my interest, until The War Planners! Unfortunately, I finished it very quickly because I could not put it down!! Looking forward to the sequel which can't come out quick enough!

Very well written. Somewhat unbelievable start but quickly developed into a very interesting story. The writer has earned my loyalty by providing a very believable scenario with the Chinese. Good read.

Beware, this is a bait and switch exercise. It is one quarter of a book ... you need to buy all of the series to actually get the story. I hate these things and won't be sucked into buying the rest. The writing isn't too bad but the premise is silly and the underlying story is kudicrous.
