I rented the Kindle version to use with my Galaxy Tab 3. It worked great. However, when I purchased a Surface 2 with Windows 8 RT it just said "this book is not available on Windows 8". So therefor I gave it three stars at it did work well with my Tab 3 just not my Surface 2. I'm sure this has to do with not everything having support for Window 8 at the moment.

Hole's Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology - The product arrived on time and in described condition. It looks like it will be perfect for my upcoming course - well laid out and full of essential information.

Book was in the condition it described, except there were a lot of highlight marks inside, which is unusual for a used book I just wish the description would have mentioned it. Other than that, it was in greta condition and I was able to sell it back!

I received the book today in amazing condition, with hardly a scratch, and it even came with a set of earphones as a thank you gift! Although it took a while to arrive, it was definitely worth the money!

Showed up completely highlighted in almost all the chapters. I was disappointed in its condition, there wasn't one highlighter color that wasn't used. Wish I could have returned it, but class started shortly after.

The purchase of this book was a great experience. I very rarely use on-line for purchases but this worked really well. The book was in fabulous shape and it was delivered early with no problems. I would definitely use this book seller again.

As a college student, I purchased this book here and saved over $50.00. What a deal! Brand new text that was a heckofa lot less than the college bookstore wanted. But remember to order early before your classes begin. It takes time for the shipment to arrive. If you wait until the last minute it won't work.

I do apologize but I have purchased used textbooks prior to this one and I can say that the condition of the textbook was SO disappointing. Minor wear within the textbook is very good but the exterior has many marks and pen all over it. It looks like it has been through more semesters then the description suggested (but never indicated).
At best, the text is in good or acceptable condition; I would not consider it "Very Good" with marks all over the in and outside.

Well illustrated and detailed in descriptive terms that were professional but not difficult. I completed the class in which this book was used but I plan on keeping the book for future reference. It was very valuable.

I studied this book for my college anatomy and physiology class. Of course, you need this book to study--without it I would have been lost. There is so much information in this book, makes anatomy and physiology a little easier to learn.
Other recommenations:
I also used Martini's Anatomy and Physiology Textbook as an additonal source. This book filled in the gaps, pictures/digarams were excellent.
Also, Leonardi's, "Anatomy and Phsiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations volumes 1, 2 & 3. The question were comparable to the kind I saw on my college exams...

I cannot say enough about how well this lab manual is written to coincide with the textbook, Hole's Human Anatomy & Physiology. Being one of the most challeging courses I have yet to take, I found this manual a tremendous help, especially with the visuals. The diagrams are fabulous and helped me tremendously to memorize the parts that were crucial on tests. The chapters on dissection were written very clearly and well organized. I found this book to be a great aid in helping me achieve an A average for my class.

oI am taking Anatomy and Physiology currently and have been assigned this book for class.
I am not a huge fan. The material is confusing and this book drops words on you and then fails to really explain what it is (for example...oxidation...ok..."cells burn glucose molecules in a process called oxidation." and then there's no further explanation. I am having to reference the internet and other anatomy books to figure out what half of the stuff is.
Definitely prefer "the essentials of Anatomy & Physiology" by Martini/Bartholomew. It actually explains things in a much more clear manner. It's too bad that I had to purchase TWO textbooks in order to learn the material.

This textbook is supposed to be written for a student who has never had anatomy and going into allied health professional field. The wording and sentance structure is so awkward, redundant, and not clear. Terms are scattered so haphazardly that it can make reading this text a chore. Several members of my anatomy class have discussed how the chapters take so much effort to read and comprehend while the outline at the end of each chapter is crystal clear.

This book has a lot of information packed into it for a one semester anatomy class. Certian sections were hard to understand when read straight from the book. Other than that, I think this is a good book.

I ordered my textbook on August 18, 2009 and receive my package on August 22, 2009 under standard shipping. My textbook came just in time for my Tuesday class....the used textbook has no highlights, no torn pages and no writings. I am a happy customer.

First time buyer, not much experience buying over the internet. I was very satisfied with the product and service. Shipped within the time frame stated. Priced below local bookstore; saved significant $$$. Will most certainly buy from this vendor again.

Very disappointing that the text book is not available for android users. Would have purchased it on the spot but now my money is going to be spend else where. The kindle fire cannot support all the files I need for school and I refuse to spend 800 dollars on an ipad when my 350 dollar android tablet can do the same and or more.
