Truly a enlightening story of what happens behind enemy lines in this hostile countries.
I can't imagine what this young man had to endure. God Bless him for his level head
decisions under such duress. Outstanding details. A must read.

Transparency is something the world is longing for. I love how Katie is real and verbalized many of her true feelings towards the trials she is facing. I was brought up being taught that you should never question God, I love how she approached this issue. I will be reading it again soon.

Another great work by God through Katie Davis! Encourages the reader to seek deeper intimacy with Jesus. Beckons readers to know God personally like Moses- Speaking as if to a friend. Feel the need to know Him more again! Read this if you want to be spiritually convicted and inspired.

This book was an amazing read from cover to cover. Katie hit on some major points of what real life is like. I identified with so many things in this book. It is a comfort that we all go through seasons and come out on the other side, wiser and better for our experiences. This book not only inspires, but shows what it truly means to be a follower of Christ. I can only hope that God uses me in a mighty way!

This book was a great read, like sitting down with a good friend and talking about the Lord's work in your life. The only trouble is after I read it I had so many people I wanted to share it with I may never get it back so I will have to order it again.

Daring to Hope is the second book written by Katie Davis Majors. I have read the first one, Kisses from Katie, multiple times and this one is no different. It has challenged me to see Christ in everything. Her faith is challenging and her hope in Jesus is encouraging. I will most definitely read this over and over again.

I was inspired by Katie’s first book and challenged by Hope! I have been a missionary for thirty-two years and in Katie I find one who understands and has put into words thoughts, questions, doubt, endurance and hope...and healing. Thank you.

The continuing story of Katie's life in Uganda, sharing God with those she meets, raising a houseful of children, and finding God's goodness in tragic events as well as the good times. Very encouraging.

Who would have thought that this mother, young enough to be my own daughter would become a mentor to me from afar. Katie's faith, her willingness to embrace the messy, "uncontrollable" life God has given her, and her determination to see God and Him glorified in all of it is an inspiration and a testimony. this book will encourage and inspire you in your own journey!

Finished this in 5 hours (unintentionally) - too good to put down. Such a beautiful display of the growth Katie has experienced in her many years since last writing and so grateful for a peek into these life-changing lessons that have already affected my own family.

The continuing story of Katie, her family, her work, and her faith brings the reader to a place of self reflection, discovery, and awakening. Katie's story offers hope in the face of the troubles of the world and the deep cynicism of this age.

A beautifully written, perfectly timed message that although life can be HARD, God is GOOD. His love finds us in our darkest, most lonely places and encourages us to keep going. To keep loving. To keep hoping.

Oh, how encouraging Katherine is for me in my life. I pray that I can be a little light in my little world. SHe inspires me to give more, hope more, love deeper and seek Him every day. Thank you for this powerful reminder that God is who He says He is every day and we can trust Him even in the terrible.

This book is so real. Katie is transparent with her words and her faith. She says things that some of us are just not willing to share, her doubts, her fears. She also tells how God showed up in every situation. God is faithful.

Katie's perspective on missions in "Kisses From Katie" changed my life and brought me back to a life of service. I was so excited to read "Daring to Hope" and it did not disappoint!! I love that she was willing to share about her doubts, fear, and unbelief- not everyone would be as transparent as Katie was. Thank you Katie, another life altering book!!

I loved reading through this book and seeing how God has worked in Katie's life these past 10 years. It was an encouragement and a blessing to me, convicting me in areas that Christ needs to work on in me, yet making me fall more in love with Jesus in the process. A must read for all believers!!!!

The book was an incredible follow- up after reading the previous Kisses From Katie. I appreciated her raw vulnerability. Her heart to see Jesus and her honesty and transparency are a huge encouragement. She is a gifted storyteller.

Loved this book. Serving God faithfully in the little things is just as pleasing and important to God as doing Big things.
Hoping through trials that don’t end the way you want, but God will meet you there.
He is God and He is good.
