Alexa Riley write the best over the top alpha stories and Sheltered was one of my favorites by them! Sheltered is an Abduction tale, written as only this duo could. Blair has worked her way up from nothing. She's come a long way from the trailer park she grew up in and is excited about her new job and new life. Her innocence has kept her from realizing that someone has been manipulating her life choices. Luckily Ryker has been watching from the shadows and is determined to keep her safe and make her his. When he abducts her, Blair is frightened and unsure, but surely a sexy and determined alpha male like Ryker can convince her that he only has her best interests at heart.

WOW! Sheltered is remarkable. Alexa Riley has given us something different with this story. Blair is a young woman that doesn't really have anyone by her side except for her "boyfriend" Fritz. Blair gets a job working at an art gallery through her boyfriend. Little does she know that her life is about to change in a big way. As the story starts to unfold, you realize things aren't quite as you think. This is a story of obsession, need, lies, love and deceit. Sheltered was unique and refreshing. It was mysterious, sexy, intriguing and suspenseful. I never knew what was coming next. I highly recommend this tempting thriller.

This was another HOT read from AR. The minute Ryker laid eyes on Blair he knew that she was meant to be his. There was just one complication to him taking what was his. So he became obsessed with her and prepared for the perfect time when he can take her away and give her everything that she deserves. Blair was starting a new job that her boyfriend helped her get, but when she catches him cheating she runs right into the strong arms that will take her away from it all. Stockholm Syndrome never felt so right! This was definitely a sweet and sexy read and I will be impatiently waiting for AR’s next release.

AR does smut like nobody business. And kidnapping two. Blair works hard all the time and she starting a new job that her boyfriend who never pays attention to her got for her. After working at the art gallery for a week she feels like someone is watching her. Then she stumbles on a stolen painting she goes to tell her boss only to discover him and her boyfriend sleeping together. when she runs aeay she runs into a tall dark Handsome Stranger who drugs and kidnaps her. Ryker has wanted Blair since the moment he saw her and he believes the only way he can protect her is to kidnap her. Sweet and sexy and oh so smutty!

I’ve read almost every Alexa Riley book and just when I think I have a favorite they put out another spectacular filthy book! I felt this story had a little bit of everything in it and took you on a full roller coaster of emotions. As always full of hot naughty dirty sex with a possessive alpha who take what he wants and doesn’t care about the consequences. Blair was great and pretty relatable, it really helps you connect with the story. The fast that she’s a virgin and is all his for the claiming is just so hot and one of my favorite things about Alexa Riley books. They knocked another one out of the park!

Blair wants to get away from the trailer park she was raised in. She thinks that Fritz is her boyfriend but he does not spend much time with her. He gets her a job. She feels like someone is watching her but does not feel threatened. She is at work late one night after finding some problems with the art she is supposed to be storing correctly. She goes to talk to her boss and finds Fritz with her boss. She leaves and runs into Ryker, he takes her away. Ryker is obsessed with Blair and will do anything to have her in his life. This is a sweet, dirty. sexy love story!

A thoroughly enjoyable romance that was filled with, sizzling hot romance, suspense ,drama and mystery. Alexander Riley delivers everything you want in a romance, a horror that is strong and tender and knows how to treat a woman like a lady. I had gotten so tired of reading books with so called alpha males who only want to abuse and humiliate a woman with thier wealth and power. It's just nice to see that there are still some authors who can still write a good romance without being like every other author writing about the same subject matter. CONGRATULATIONS!

I always enjoy these books. Ryker and Blair are perfect. Their insta love is amazing. Even though he kidnaps her, she’s sees that the life she was living wasn’t hers and that she wasn’t being her authentic self. With ryker she can be herself and he accepts her for who she is. He treats like she’s always wanted to be treated and thinks of her with everything he does. He dotes on her makes her feel wanted. That’s she’s ever wanted and in life and he gives that to her. Love this storyline and of course another banger from the duo Alexa riley.

Sheltered was a great story. Alexa Riley did a great job on it. It was well written and had a great plot. I couldn't put this book down. Ryker and Blair were great characters. Ryker was obsessive, protective, sweet and possessive with Blair. Loved how he was with Blair. They were made for each other. The chemistry between Ryker and Blair was off the charts sizzling hot. They were great together. I enjoyed their journey. This was a great story. I recommend reading, it's a 5 star book.

Loved the concept and overall a pretty good book. I'm a pretty big fan of alexa Riley and while i can say I liked this book I didn't love it. Mainly because there were at least 3 continuity errors that just made me stop and go wait a minute I thought something else was happening or something was set up differently. But other than that it had the ott alpha that I've come to love from her with plenty of sexiness and the general story line was good.So other then the few minor continuity/grammar issues it was good, would recommend.

Blair just graduated college and is now working at her boyfriend's art gallery, but they seem to have drifted apart. One day she is across the street and is buying coffee when she is kidnapped. Her kidnapped is a sexy guy named Ryker. He treats her like a princess and pampers her.

Good story with a little bit of mystery as to why he kidnapped her. However, this book doesn't seem to do it for me. The writing is just ok and I found myself dragging through trying to finish the book.

Excellent story & longer than I'd expected, which means we really get to know Blair & Ryker, which is GREAT!

One of the things I love about kidnapping books done right (for me) is getting into the guy's head & knowing that his focus is protection. I can connect with the reasoning & understand how our heroine falls for him. Another thing I enjoyed with this one is we get some unique POV's. Thumbs up!

This was a nice instalove book. Ryker has been watching Blair and making plans to kidnap her to make her his & give her everything she desires. Blair...She never really got attention from her mom or the jerk she thinks she’s in a relationship with. I liked how Ryker and Blair were together they were cute. Overall I enjoyed the book it had a sweet alpha male, secrets and a happy ending!

Wow just wow! Kidnapped and falling in love with your captor. Blair or as Ryker calls her cricket steps up to protect her when she doesn't know she's in danger until she she's her name on paperwork she didn't sign them see her boyfriend with the women she works for then she's running in to the arms of Ryker who is in love with her that he does anything to protect her. I loved this book.

I loved Ryker! She first saw Blair when checking up on his brother. He saw red when he saw that Blair, or Cricket as he likes to call her, had a boyfriend. He started to watch her and when he saw that she needed to be protected, kidnapped her. I loved Ryker and Blair and the way their relationship came to be.

Who knew Alexa Riley could do suspense with a whole lot of hot dirty alpha male roles into it!! This book is over the top HOT! It was so crazy good that it will have you fanning yourself and hanging on to every word. Ryker is crazy obsessed with Blair and he will have her no matter what. It just gets hotter and hotter until the volcano of suspicion erupts! This is one of my favs!!

Interesting story. I liked the fact that the hero didn’t act until a little later in the book and he was always watching over the h. It was a slow burn compared to usual AR books. Different but the same... ya know? .... anywho, I enjoyed it. Once they did get together it was for a lifetime. AR is always a one click author for me.

Blair and Ryker *bursts into happy tears* I love them together. Blair, is the sweetest woman, too trusting and she ends up in a situation that could’ve gone way wrong, with Ryker she ends up in an even more crazy situation but I think I speak for all of us when we say we wouldn’t mind the situation Ryker would have us in. I give this story all the stars and I’m off to give this hot little number a reread!

I really loved this book and devoured it in hours. At first I wasn’t sure I liked Ryker but I fell for him quite quickly. He sure is obsessed with Blair and I totally loved his possessiveness. But what’s the real reason he took her? There’s a bit of suspense too and I wondered if he can save her? Loved all the bonus epilogues too. I highly recommend this book.

Loved the characters in this book. Blair was such a strong character even with what she was going through. I loved the way she tried to see the best in thing even when people let her down.
Now Ryker was all Alpha Male and I love it. He knows what he wants and what he wants is Blair.
Now to find out the rest read this story. You will not be disappointed.

Usually Alexa Riley’s KU Book are a short quick read and those are fun but I really enjoyed this longer story. Don’t worry it still has the overly obsessive hot alpha male that’s so fun to love (although in real life you would probably call the cops and get a lifetime restraining order against him). This is escapism reading at its finest! Enjoy the story. ?

I never thought drugging a woman and kidnapping her could be seen as romantic, but the author somehow made it happen. The way she described love and happiness made you feel like you were sharing it with the characters. Surprisingly decent book. A few typos. The main character Blair had about as much personality as a potato but I still enjoyed the read.

It was psycho/ stalker sweet kind of love. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be so obsessively cherished, but it's probably one of those things that looks better on paper than in real life. Good story although there were some errors ( something easily rectified with a good editor).

I enjoyed this story about an alpha male who takes what he wants but loves with his whole heart. Ryker is determined to make Blair his but will he convince her to see him for who he is? Their chemistry was off the charts and the storyline had me needing to see what was happening next.

I just finished this as an ARC. Sheltered is another hit read for AR. I find myself drawn in by the naive girl and obsessive Alpha storyline.
Blair drove me absolutely crazy with how adorably naive she was to her snake of a boyfriend’s lies. But no worries, Ryker the obsessive sexy Alpha comes to her rescue.
I’m a sucker for a HEA and if you are as well, I’d get Sheltered now!

This is quite an intriguing story. It has trickery, deceit, kidnapping, love, obsession, a hot man who literally takes what he wants, an innocent woman who is just trying to make a better life, and family issues. It has pretty much everything. Some big time chemistry and heat. Some holy cow moments. Overall, just a great great read! Alexa Riley just keeps getting better & better!!

Ryker is over the top instantly in love with Blair. Blair is busy trying to find her way in the world. Ryker hides in the shadows waiting for Blair until he decides he can't wait anymore, and kidnaps her. Realistic? Nope. But who wants reality when you can over the top, instant everything with a fire so hot you'll need to ice your kindle and grab your man (or BOB)? Enjoy

Heck yes! An Alexa Riley obsessive alpha story with more meat to it. Yeah the heroine is pretty naïve, but given her life to that point I can see why. I love the stalker taboo portion and loved the mystery and danger/excitement combo. Best AR release this year and I hope to see more of these deeper story lines from them!
