Very yo the point and openly blunt but not insensitive at all! I love love loved this book. It helped me objectively step back and see him for what he is/was. THANK YOU! I read this after psychopath free and am implementing the mantras daily. I just can't say thank you enough.

This book was great! It also helped me realize that I need to trust my gut instinct even when I cannot exactly understand why I am feeling a certain way. I am learning, and this will never happen to me again! I needed this book, thank you times a million.

Great information and on the mark (no pun intended). Would like to see better information for those who were not aware of the physical dangers of before intuitively and swiftly removing the psychopath when in immediate danger. In other words, damage control AFTER the fact.

This book is filled with practical steps to evade destruction by these individuals. I also enjoyed the material on “interviewing” your future friends, as once you have become a victim, we need practical ways to avoid being a victim again. Thanks

I found this to be helpful, validating, concise and well written. There is never enough written to help someone understand the incomprehensible. I would value more work on picking up the pieces post No contact.

I liked the fact that this had simple checklists for identifying and dealing with people with serious personal issues. I would recommend it to anyone who has been affected by an individual with these disorders.

Very well written book. Very helpful!!! I like how the author categorized the psychopath, sociopath and narcissist as one. They all have similar traits. It really helped me to understand what I was dealing with and what I need to do to move forward.

There is a ton of great information on identifying, dealing with and avoiding relationships with these personal, and much of it can be used across the board. However this book definitely is intended more for discernment in romantic relationships and so perfect for that audience.

This book is great for describing psychopaths, but it is so homophobic that I have to protest. The author describes female psychopaths as bi-sexual, promiscuous, and a host of other insults, and the problem with it is that it is basically says that a sexually active female who is bi-sexual is psychotic. It is so prejudice against people who are sexually active that it is shocking. He claims rape victims don't say they are raped. I am a rape victim and I am tired of people telling me that real victims are too ashamed to speak up. I do not feel "damaged" and neither do any of female I have met who is a rape victim, and most say that they are these days because we are tired of being told that we are damaged goods. Excuse me, but this is just not freaking true and it is rude and insulting. Yes, we do speak up. Most "real victims" say we are abused. In essence, he is prejudice against sexually active females of any type. I really dislike people who insist on stereotypical gender roles; many of my friends were gay and transsexuals and none were psychopaths. At one point, he writes or she writes, "What does a women who sleeps around say about herself?" type of comment. Why would a woman be ashamed for having boyfriends or whatever not? People who have consensual sex are not psychopaths. Most chapters in the book are good outside of the view that the writer professes on women's sexuality. The chapter also refers to models as psychopaths and claims women who are trophy wives are psychopaths; I have never met a single female who meets this description who was a psychopath. Sex workers are not psychopaths; if anything, they are victims if they don't just hold a different view about sexuality than someone else. Feminism at one point is outlined as a sign of a psychopathic female. I am a feminist and I am an empath. Nearly every feminist that I know is motivated by compassion and not power; this is a new found attack on feminists that I have witnessed more and more, and, earnestly, it is deeply disturbing. Feminism is about equality. Gender non-conformity is a movement about humanity and equality. Sexual liberation is about equality and happiness and the avoidance of shame. Using people and having consensual sex are not the same. Rape is forcing someone to do something and consensual sex is just the culture of the younger generation. If someone doesn't like feminist, I have a hard time taking him or her seriously because it is just so ignorant.
