The jokes are pretty funny. Pretty much all of the jokes actually have to do with a Dad. People say my humor is a "Dad joke" so i thought the book was metaphorical for being cheesy jokes, not actually DAD jokes. Haha but its still corny either way so I'm not mad. It's for my dad for christmas so I think he will like it

What a let down bought it for a Christmas stocking stuffer. Couldn't use it. Jokes are off, terrible gramar and spelling mistakes. I tossed it after showing the family what a JOKE it was. Money in the trash

There's something to be said for accurately titled books. 101 So Bad, They're Good Dad Jokes is full of 101 dad jokes, some of which are pretty good, some of which are pretty bad, and some of which are so bad they're good. Elias Hill must have has fun putting this together.

One positive thing about this book is that the jokes, even thought they're pretty bad, seemed somewhat original. I had heard very few of them before. Whether that means Hill is an original joke writer, or maybe I have been sheltered from exposure to these bad jokes, I don't know.

Katherine Hogan illustrates each joke with a Dad and his interlocutor. Despite the goofy drawings and the uneven quality of the jokes, I was inspired to commit some of these to memory so I can pull them out at appropriate times, especially when a bad dad joke will sufficiently embarrass my kids.

101 So Bad, They're Good Dad Jokes

Dad jokes. They make you cringe, they make you groan but the one thing they have in common is they come from dad. Be it during a wedding toast or when introducing your dad to someone you want to impress, dad never fails to insert a dad joke wherever he can.
This dad joke book makes a great gift for the dad who has everything and has heard everything. Or maybe you want to buy it for yourself and come prepared the next time dad wants to have a joke off. In any event, 101 So Bad, They're Good Dad Jokes will have your eyes rolling into the back of your head faster than dad can strip to his tighty-whities on a hot summer day!
This book is absolutely hilarious!!! My dear old dad is 90 and I told him a few of these today over the phone and he laughed for the first time since his surgery! (Unlike the book’s description, it is minus three degrees today and he is well-bundled up on top of those tighty-whities!

I was given the opportunity, via NetGalley, to read an electronic copy of 101 So Bad, They're Good Dad Jokes. I was under no obligation to review this book and my opinion is freely given.

I would not call these Dad jokes, as much as I would call them bad jokes that Dads tell. Many of the pun-filled and cheesy jokes that have been passed on from father to child are compiled into this humorous book. The jokes are clearly intended to make readers laugh, groan, or shake their heads as they peruse the pages. As far as the illustrations go, I do wish that the author had spent more time on them, since the simplistic drawings are not well executed.

101 So Bad, They're Good Dad Jokes would be a great Father's Day gift from a child to his or her Dad, or a good gag gift. Readers who are looking for intricate illustrations should look elsewhere, as the simple ink type drawings will not satisfy them.
