Emmet Fox is one of my favorite authors. This book is one of my Top 10 books that go with me everywhere. I consult it when I have a question about the Bible. When I get offtrack, I know it's time to read one of Emmet Fox's books.

Emmet Fox was a great spiritual teacher with his own interpretation of the King James Version of the Bible, which many translators tell us is a poor version. At any rate, the scholars who translated it and King James himself had political reasons for their work.

Fox's friends have put together a wonderful 365-day book out of his various writings, but they failed to ensure that the job was done correctly.

Example: On December 12, the headline is not "THE UNFORGIVABLE SIN" but "THE UNFORGIVABLES IN."

This is the second edition I've purchased through the years. The author has other valuable books equally as enriching. Oh, this book I also have in paperback, Kindle and iPhone Kindle... Emmet Fox is just one of those essential sources.

This has been a great addition to my morning routine. I love his way of relaying the lessons of scripture. I'm very open minded when it comes to matters of religion and spirituality, and this book has been a breath of fresh air. Nothing that conflicts with my liberal religious views.
