The book was entertaining. A story of freedom of adventure. Anyone that has had a child has lived seeing the new perspective of their Mother which is the central theme of the book. Good read for those thinking of having children stage of life.

I love Kelly Corrigan's voice and this book stands up to her others. It is a welcome change to read a book bolstering mother's rather than blaming them for everything wrong in childhood. It is a fun, quick read.

Glitter and Glue gives credit to the years of sacrifice a Mother gives when she chooses to be a stay at home Mom.
Only when your children enter adulthood do they realize the value of having a Mom that sets rules and boundaries.
I found this book to be validating to Mothers and what they do.

This is a fabulous memoir of a woman progressively mentally reconnecting with her mom while being a nanny at the Tanner's family. The writing is absolutely fabulous. I was living every moment with her. The author is marvelous and this book is so worth the read.

I absolutely love how the story opened, developed and ended.

It is a beautiful tribute to motherhood beginning from the perspective of daughter through motherhood.

Truly a must read for daughter's everywhere.

I picked this book randomly I love reading easys or short stories and about people in general. Family is something I can not really wrap my head around but this gave me a huge inside look that I'm not alone in that!!

Thought provoking look at the mother-daughter relationship told by one person experiencing both ends of the spectrum. It makes the reader examiner her own relationship with her mother and/or daughter.

Totally could relate to the author's relationship with her parents. Praying for Kelly Corrigan's health. I've read her The Middle Place (or similar) - and enjoyed that a number of years ago. This was our book club pick.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book from cover to cover! The mother-daughter component drew me in initially but the story itself and Kelly's Australian adventures were so wonderful and fun to read. I loved the full circle view and closure of the relationships.

The writing repeatedly drew a deep emotional response, eliciting tears of understanding over and over. I loved how well the different periods of the author's life were brought together to tell the story of motherhood.

Such a sweet quick read! Stumbled across this book when the author was on the today show. I am home recuperating from a hysterectomy (cancer scare) with two small boys. You can't help but wonder what life would be like without you even when the results are clear. Perfect timing for this book in my life :)

I bought this book because of an interview with the author on a morning show. There are a few pearls of wisdom in the book, but overall it was mediocre. Definitely not a book I felt compelled to finish.
