Haunted (Michael Bennett)

So glad to finally have another Michael Bennett and family. This book was so hard to put down I literally could have read it in one day. I kept putting it away to prolong getting to the end. Cannot wait for the next one.

This was very disappointing. However, if you enjoy the goings on of the Bennett family, then it is a good book. It seemed the personal family issues took over the much of the book. Detective Bennett was on vacation and helping the local cops was just not the main event here.

Have loved the Michael Bennett series from the beginning and this one was the best! A lot more in depth personal aside from the usual edge of mystery and attention grabbing storyline. Hope to see as many Michael Bennett books in the future as there has been Alex Cross. Always a James Patterson fan anyway but Bennettt is my "go to" favorite anymore!

I particularly love the Michael Bennett series. Great characters and always a captivating story. I couldn’t put this book down. It was especially timely as each night news broadcasts stories of drug crimes and addiction. I can’t wait for the next Michael Bennett book.

What a great book, fast paced, definitely a page turner. The story line is so intense that before you know it the book ends, ugh, now I have yo wait. Hurry up with the next book Mr James Patterson, please!?!?!

Once again Michael Bennett and family make me happy! Off to a well needed vacation in Maine after his oldest son Brian gets into an awful mess and finds himself in jail. Vacation for some but of course mike finds himself involved in another "save the world" from the bad guys and does this with the same precision and dedication that he does in NYC. Excellent entertainment

I love the Michael Bennett character
James Patterson always delivers with this one, topping it off with the proposal to Mary Catherine. I refuse to read the bookshots however, they just do not satisfy my need for a good read.
I think Patterson hss over-extended by working on so many novels at a time.

I've read all the Michael Bennett novels but "Haunted" falls short of its predecessors. In reading it one gets the impression that this is the last Michael Bennett the detective. Either the authors intend to end the series or have Bennett leave the NYPD.

In either case much of the warmth and humor of Bennett family life will be lost as the older children leave home and Seamus grows more frail.

In truth, I feel that I'm losing some dear friends. I guess even the best things must eventually come to an end.

Again James Patterson has written a realistic book about law enforcement ,drug usage and it's evils as well as an injection of the perils of human life and dedication to family . Good book for sure!!!!!

I have followed the Michael Bennet series from his first book. I find the human interaction of a police officer and his family to be enlightening and very rewarding. How Michael handles his job and family are heartening and very entertaining.
