The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld)
The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld)

Review:I hate when people tell all about the story line. I just want you to know Gena is back. This book was awesome. I love the harpies. The fighting, loving, and one liners as digs against other harpies is funny and very entertaining. It is a must read for anyone who was let down with her last book in this series. This will bring you back and get you ready for Paris's book. Loved it. Read more

The Hotter You Burn (Original Heartbreakers)
The Hotter You Burn (Original Heartbreakers)

Review:"He couldn't have her without committing to her. He had to have her, but he couldn't commit to her. It was the surest way to lose her forever."

I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive reading this book after not quite loving the first book in this series. But then Beck O'ckley was the hero that really captivated me in The Closer You Come with his one-and-done policy with women. Who doesn't love an unrepentant manwhore? I certainly do. Then you have the heroine, Harlow Glass, as the most h... Read more

The Darkest Pleasure (Lords of the Underworld)
The Darkest Pleasure (Lords of the Underworld)

Review:I haven't read any of the other books in this series but was thankful when I started reading The Darkest Pleasure it wasn't necessary. Obviously each book is a story in it's own though still tying all characters together. Gena Showalter did a lovely job in writing this book, the characters have depth and heart. I don't care for heroines who are so tough they aren't even women anymore, or so bitchy and mean they can never take correction. Danica is lovely and written with some grace, Reyes...... Read more

A Paranormal Romance Novel (Atlantis) - The Nymph King
A Paranormal Romance Novel (Atlantis) - The Nymph King

Review:I love the Atlantis series! I was a bit worried that due to the nature of the nymphs I was not going to like this one, but was very pleasantly surprised. The herione was not falling over herself for the hero which was nice. Although I do think her self proclaiming "bi*^^hiness" was a bit over done. I was through with her ice woman persona about 50 pages into the book. Read more

Awaken Me Darkly (Alien Huntress Book 1)
Awaken Me Darkly (Alien Huntress Book 1)

Review:Great start to the series. Reminds me of the earlier Anita Blake novels, a strong independent aggressive female (Mia Snow) in law enforcement of supernatural creatures except in this series there are aliens. Aliens that are intelligent, sexy, evil, good and have unknown powers that humans have to police in this futuristic new world by Gena Showalter.

Mia Snow firmly knew that aliens were bad and her jobs was to be eliminate all that broke the law. However, her firm beliefs are shattered a... Read more

The Darkest Passion (Lords of the Underworld)
The Darkest Passion (Lords of the Underworld)

Review:This is one of my favorites so far. I liked aeron because he's like the crazy, psycho evil since the beginning of the book. so I was excited to read his story with Olivia. :-) I read this online and would love to buy the book because it's a keeper! I love everything until the ending I guess... as what few people said - the ending was kinda rush.. I was like... "whoa! hold on! what just happened?!" and had to re-read the last scene over again. =/ I was also sad about Baden... omg my poor baden...... Read more

The Queen of Zombie Hearts (The White Rabbit Chronicles)
The Queen of Zombie Hearts (The White Rabbit Chronicles)

Review:If you thought the stakes were high in Alice Through the Zombie Glass that's nothing compared to what Ali and the slayers are facing in this instalment. Zombies may be evil but they're mindless creatures that act on instinct and it turns out that humans are far more dangerous. Anima doesn't want to see the slayers wipe out the zombies, not when they've worked so hard to find a way to control them, so they will do whatever it takes to wipe out Ali and her friends.

Right from the beginning ... Read more
