Review:When I think of the author Nalini Singh the first thing that comes to mind is the paranormal PSY-Changeling Series, which is just a fantastic complex political-intriguing romance series. I remember reading the blurb for this book, Rock Hard and thinking “Oh no, she had jumped on the wealthy but flawed hero bandwagon that is so popular in contemporary romance right now. Why would she do that?” Well she didn’t. This book is different, better and well-crafted. Ms. Singh has brought her same wonder... Read more
Review:Still a good series, but one comment by one of the characters threw me right out of the book and made me feel sad inside. She said that there were differences between men and women in how they thought, using her fictional psychic skills as an authoritarian backup on that. And as someone who's been very interested in science, and gender, and social roles related to gender, that statement made me feel awful in the real world. Not a feeling I enjoy in my light reading, and one I'm afraid informs th... Read more
Review:Nalini Singh's Guildhunter books are always great! Naasir's story not only gives us a wonderful couple to love but reveled the amazing story of what & who Naasir is and continues the destructive path of Lijuan. While awakening another Ancient Archangel Read more
Review:Lovely stories about some of our past characters. I mostly enjoyed Dorian's story. In this book we find out how Tazia & Stefan met & got married. Then we have a past to present regarding Dorian's latency until he meets his mate Ashaya and is finally able to shift. So much feels for this part of the story, as I also must admit that out of this series, Dorian & Ashaya's story was one of my absolute favorites! Loved, loved, Felix & Dezi's story of a male submissive wolf with his dom... Read more
Review:Mmm..Delicious. I've been looking forward to this book for months and it was great. I liked the way the relationship slowly grew between them. I loved the storyline and the sudden turn it took partway through. I liked how there was that moment at the end where Holly realized they should probably go back to the problem they'd started on before getting sidetracked, only to learn that Dimitri had finished that off for them -that's a great showing of how the Seven work together. I like the way ... Read more
Review:Heart of Obsidian by Nalini Singh is the 12th book in her Psy/Changeling series. My favorite book in the series (I love them all), was a tie between Slave to Sensation & Kiss of Snow. Notice I said was, though it is close. I never thought I would love a book just as good or better with the hero being Kaleb Krychek, especially in competition with Hawke or Lucas. But Heart of Obsidian was simply amazing. Nalini Singh continues to prove that she is a master storyteller, and in this book she... Read more
Review:Would you stop adding books to this series? My dinner keeps on getting burnt and late. Addictive series. Some times gets a little " much the same " but trust me, bear with it in the lulls because the highs are all so wonderful. Read more
Review:Again Nalini Singh writes to keep you interested. Read the book in two days. I won't get into the characters, for I would like you, the reader, to see them with you own thoughts & mind. But as always, the women are strong, independent and full of love. The men are the same but very respectful of the women in the story.
I know you will enjoy reading about Bowen and Kaia. Read more
Review:I have been waiting to read this particular book in the Psy-changeling series; and I am glad to say I was not disappointed! A great read, with equal parts romance, action and intrigue, with just enough humor thrown in to make it a truly enjoyable story. If you have read the other books in this series, then you will enjoy this one as well. Read more
Review:When I first started reading this book I was a little disappointed and was very close to skipping it so that I would read it. You are probably wondering why, we’ll its all because it wasn’t about our favourite Arc Angel and Guild Hunter. But to be totally honest I’m glad that I did read it. Dmitri and Honor’s story had me on the edge of my seat. The connection between these two is something that you just don’t want to miss out on. You want to ride this roller coaster from the beginning to the ve... Read more
