Wetter: A lesbian erotica short
Wetter: A lesbian erotica short

Review:This was really short - even for the short story genre. I do think there was a lot of potential, especially for character development. I would recommend Lexy Harper instead, if you want hot f/f short stories. This story did nothing for me, physically or emotionally. Read more

Saints for All Occasions: A novel
Saints for All Occasions: A novel

Review:The writing style is simple. A lot of telling and not much showing, in short sentences with simple words. Details of the times and places created a believable Irish Catholic world. I appreciated those details, but felt I was learning about this family more than I was caring about them. Read more

The Rules Do Not Apply: A Memoir
The Rules Do Not Apply: A Memoir

Review:Well-written and intense but so intimate - as if you’ve somehow always known Ariel. It’s a love letter to life that - like many great love stories - dances round and ultimately ends in the land of “what could have been.” I hung on nearly every word, highlighted passage after beautiful passage and wanted to weep with the raw realness of it all. Bravo for one of the most authentic memoirs I’ve read in a long time. Read more

The Absolutist
The Absolutist

Review:This book was well written and definitely kept my interest. I learned a lot more about World War I, probably more than I ever wanted to know. Be in a good mood when you read it. It is definitely a heavy book and can be very depressing. Read more

Hudson's Luck: A Forever Wilde Novel
Hudson's Luck: A Forever Wilde Novel

Review:I loved the combination of sweet romance, humor, and a bit of feistiness in this story. There's some angst but not as much as there could've been and that worked well for me. It's what I would call a comforting read, where you just get immersed in the story, get transported to a different world. I think Felix's story is still my fave in this series, but this one is a close second. Read more

Hard to Be Good: A Hard Ink Novella

Review:“I just want to say something, Jeremy. Your brother might’ve saved me, but you’re the one who rescued me from a lonely life not worth living.”

This was another great novella in the Hard Ink series, I love that after all the craziness that happens in the full length novels we’re treated to these little breaks in the action in the form of these heart felt novellas. In the last one we were there as Easy dealt with finally facing his PTSD and in this novella Laura Kaye tackles the also sensit... Read more

Slow Heat (Heat of Love Book 1)
Slow Heat (Heat of Love Book 1)

Review:As mentioned elsewhere, I don't venture into the ABO-verse often (I don't care for shifter tales, but happily no element of that here), but I'm so glad I read this! Leta writes stories that ring true emotionally, and this tale was no exception. I loved the developing (and passionate) relationship between older omega Vale and baby alpha Jason. Intricate world building & family structure. Well-developed and interesting side characters. My heart broke a little for Xan and his impossible positio... Read more
