Review:Nicole Edwards has done it again! She expands a story around the reader, effectively trapping you in the characters! Once embroiled you won't stop reading until the end, ensuring you a complete picture! Thanks for the conclusive story and I can't wait for your next book in the series! Read more

Reckless (Pier 70 Book 1)
Reckless (Pier 70 Book 1)

Review:Nicole Edwards and her very first all MM series- what a dilemma. One of my favourite author taking me to a genre that I am not overtly comfortable being in. I know, I know get my head out my ass and get a grip this woman has written every conceivable pairing or combination that could possibly be contrived before and I have read each and every one but this seemed to be setting off on a different path – a solely MM series and that is a new one for me.
But should I have worried, should I have be... Read more

Fearless (Pier 70 Book 2)

Review:Another really good story from Nicole Edwards

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and as always with this author the stories always get better and better.

Dare and Noah have a past together, 15 years previously they both broke each other's hearts. Forced together again at Dare's best friends wedding they find themselves in the position they can't run away from.

Their both seriously hot for each other, the chemistry is instant and if anything is burning brighter th... Read more

Review:DANG, Tessa Bailey knows how to write a steamy romance novel.

Tessa Bailey has been an author I have always been interested in, but I never got around to reading her books. I have heard such great things about her books, and I finally got around to reading a book by her! I am now SOLD on her books. I completely understand all of the hype her books get!

I read this book as a standalone and I had no issues following the book even though it is the last book in a series. However, this ... Read more

Meddling Kids: A Novel
Meddling Kids: A Novel

Review:Clever idea, something of a letdown in the execution.
In typical hypocritical fashion, towards the second half of the book we learn that one character hates guns, another bemoans the availability of guns, and we are then treated to an extended action sequence where guns are used about as much as in a Rambo movie. I would have preferred my Scooby Doo without the author's politics.
Still, there are some parts that are well done. The general layout of this alternate Scooby world is pretty goo... Read more

The Lightning-Struck Heart (Tales From Verania Book 1)
The Lightning-Struck Heart (Tales From Verania Book 1)

Review:This book was recommended by a good friend. They asked, "do you read gay fiction? Fantasy? Humor?" When I answered all three with enthusiastic YES, they knew this book series was for me. They were so right.
a fabulously sassy hornless unicorn, a snuggly giant who would smash anything/one for his loved ones, a dragon with a hoarding problem (is that *REALLY* a thing?), a dashing knight with perfect poses, and a wizard's apprentice that cannot stop getting kidnapped.
Every page is like a pot... Read more

Review:Thank you Tj Klune. I love Tyson, Otter, Bear, Dominic and the rest of the family. You say they are not real but you make them real for us. I can't wait to read the next book and I hope it takes not to long for you to write it. Thanks again! Read more

Prince's Gambit (The Captive Prince Trilogy)
Prince's Gambit (The Captive Prince Trilogy)

Review:After reading the two books, somehow, i felt disappointed in the sense that i can feel the coldness of the main character (Laurent) through the part where they first made love. Fine...I can understand that there were not any (hot) scenes concerning both of them but on the second book... somehow, i expected it to be hot when they first did it. But it totally failed me. It may not be as very visual as compared to the other books that I've read before, but c'mon... this is already the second book. ... Read more
