Review:I read someone opining somewhere that any adventure series that goes on long enough eventually does a "The Most Dangerous Game" episode, and I suppose this book is Toby's. It seems that Blind Michael's Hunt (this series's version of the "wild hunt" myth) is preying on children, both fae and human, and once again October Daye, halfling PI and fledgling hero must plunge into a situation way above her head to put a stop to it.
McGuire's October Daye series is a bit of an odd duck in the Urb... Read more

Review:Nicholas Sansbury Smith has really crushed it with this Book 7 of the Extinction Series, Extinction War. Had the action gotten any more exciting than it is, I don't think I could have finished this zompoc novel. The characters readers of the series have cared about for some time now have changed a lot. Some have passed on as a result of the zombie war and the military coup. Heck, I even miss a mouse from the book! Captain Beckham, now Captain Beckham, has undergone drastic physical changes but h... Review:This is the third story in the Perfect Gentleman series that brings the reader Dax Spencer’s story and what a suspenseful, action packed one it is. Dax is a Navy man who has worked hard to become one of the most powerful men in the United States along with his “brothers” from Creighton Academy. Holland Kirk is a feisty, sharp NCIS investigator who is Dax’s match and gives him a good run for his money.
This book combines the past with the present and finds all of the gentlemen back into anot... Read more

Review:I found this book leaving me wanting more. I was almost disappointed it ended although I had a hard time putting it down. This is another series I am quickly adding to my reading list. I love the Elena Michaels character and cannot wait to read the next volume. Read more
Review:Spell Bound is book 12 in the Women of the Otherworld series, and it is told from the perspective of Savannah, so it has definite YA crossover potential. I love this series, Elena and Clay are probably my favorite characters, but Eve and Savannah run very close seconds. I was very excited to dive back into the Otherworld and find out what craziness Savannah would get herself into this time.
Turns out that Savannah has lost her powers, and with the madness that always seems to follow thi... Read more
Review:Well dang it, I wanted to dislike this book, I really did. There are more than enough badly written stories blurring the lines of my dearly beloved fantasy and science fiction with the horrible romance section to make me want to throw up. This book looked like another one of those silly throw away cheesecake reads with a little magic thrown in to keep the bodice ripper readers happy. Right? Nope, it's fun, it is a quick happy read and I really enjoyed the whole thing.
Yes the three si... Read more
