Truly, Madly: A Lucy Valentine Novel
Truly, Madly: A Lucy Valentine Novel

Review:Heather Webber has written a chick lit masterpiece!! I loved this book, and I especially loved Lucy Valentine. Lucy is slightly crazy (who of us isn't?) but has a huge heart, and I believe that's what makes it so enjoyable. For all of Lucy's failings, she does things with the best of intentions. I really look forward to the next Lucy Valentine book - the only thing I hate about this series is that I have to wait for the next one!! Read more

The Angel's Game: A Psychological Thriller

Review:I would have never heard of the first book Shadow on the Wind--it had just been published in English for the first time and my cousin sent me a copy.Everyone in the house ended up reading the first and second book.
Both books were well written with many plots-characters and subplots-very interesting read.
A must read--especially if you have read the first book. Read more

Marina (Vintage) (Spanish Edition)
Marina (Vintage) (Spanish Edition)

Read more

Bloody Bones (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Book 5)

Review:Ms.L.K.Hamilton, I enjoy your vampire hunter collection so very much. These are books that would make a fantastic tv series (lie on HBO) where they would not edit it to the point of disappointment. After watching shows like 'True Blood' and many more like it, I truly think it can and will be an instant success Read more

The Killing Dance (Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter
The Killing Dance (Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter

Review:This book like the preceding books in the series is full of action, complex characters, and more questions. Hamilton avoids taking the easy way out of situations and provides a strong heroine filled with internal turmoil doing her best among the monsters as she questions her own humanity as well as what makes a monster. Vampire Hunter Novel - Kiss the Dead - An Anita Blake

Review:PLOT. Where is it? It's like Hamilton was searching for a direction for this series to go, couldn't come up with one so she decided to pick something easy like a RPIT (police/marshal) case to weave her sex scenes around. In the past I have liked the police/marshal books, especially with Edward and gang. Those actually felt like stories. This felt like filler. No depth. No interest.

WRITING. It felt less like a story and more being talk at or lectured.

SEX. All of these books... Read more

Danse Macabre (Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter

Review:Spend an hour in the bookstore with this book but don't buy it. Read the 1st 4 chapters and the last 4 chapters. The rest is bodice-ripper gothic romance. The entire book takes place in 24 hours. SYNOPSIS: Anita and Jean-Claude have ardeur sex with Augustine, Master of Chicago, and Anita *might* be pregnant by...? Everyone's powers are enhanced - some are clarified, most are not. There are a LOT of storylines left open at the end of almost 500 pages of sex: Samuel & Anita; Anita & ... Read more

The Double Comfort Safari Club (No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Series)
