Graphic Novels
Review:Esta es una novela intrigante, una continuación de Sombra del Viento, entrelazando los temas de amor, ambición, misterio, lo súper natural, en que el lector entra el mundo de los personajes y los acompaña en su viaje cual es lleno de amor y tristeza. Read more
Review:This book was a huge disappointment. It is just a comic book. Extremely disappointed. Do not like at all. Will not be ordering books again. Very confusing array of Castle books on the Amazon web site. Read more
Review:This book presents an entirely new experience. It has aspects of comic books I enjoyed as a kid. It quotes and uses much of the Koran in the story. Its illustrated borders and Arabic script are outstanding. The story line is pretty good. Depending on how one wants to interpret the story and illustrations one might either say that it is pornographic or that it has a religious meaning. I feel that it is both. Read more
Review:Having already read Martin's short story, I really enjoyed this graphic interpretation of his work. Dunk and Egg are drawn pretty much how I imagined them, and other than a couple strange panels, I found the adaptation to be respectful and true to the source material throughout. I'd recommend this to any D&E fan. Read more
Review:I finished this a while back, but just haven't been able to find the words to leave an intelligent review. So, I'm not going to try to leave an in-depth one. Review:Entertaining series, unreadable format.
It's a decent story. If you like Spider-Man and you like the alternate universe versions of him, you're probably going to enjoy this book. Not the best thing in the world, but good solid fun.
The problem comes with the collection itself. As you start the book you'll notice in the very beginning the "Spider-Verse Chronology," which lists all of the books in the event (Not all of which are collected here, but honestly even without the Edge of S... Read more
Review:Although there are a few minor differences from the original novel this graphic novel provides an excellent and satisfying adaptation. If you didn't get enough of the world and story after reading the trilogy this is a beautifully illustrated version that will leave you hoping for a release of Shift: The Graphic Novel and Dust: The Graphic Novel. Review:This book is wonderful in every way. If you love a great story, distinct characters and absolutely gorgeous artwork, you will love Blacksad. It's definitely one of a kind. (The content is not for the little ones). Read more
Review:Amazon could have made it much clearer this was a graphic comic. Buyer beware. The lack of info provided is ridiculous and downright misleading. NOT at all the author's fault though--so giving it 4 stars because reviews should be about content, not poor salesmanship. If you like graphic novels I'm sure this will be great. Read more
