Review:Sixteen year old Alice is diagnosed with Leukaemia. Things don't look promising, so Alice creates a bucket list of things she wants to do before she dies. A lot of things on that list are about revenge. Revenge on an ex boyfriend, and getting back at anyone who's wronged her. Reconnecting with her childhood friend Harvey, it's his friendship that she will count on the most. Just as her bucket list is almost complete, Alice is told that she is in remission. Instead of being happy and over the moo... Read more
Review:I think that every girl should read this book. It is the perfect book for girls ages 9- forever! I read it because my friend read it and she told me what a great book it was and i decided to see if it was great. It was and i am so sure that i will read it again and again until my copy of the book falls apart! "Just as Long as we are Together" helps girls who are expecally ones going through puberty, because the girls in the story are. Step, Rachel, and Alison tell you what your in for with out j... Review:EXTRAORDINARY MEANS by Robyn Schneider seems at first glance to be just another THE FAULT IN OUR STARS-esque love story; it follows Lane and Sadie, two teens who are sent to Latham House because they’re suffering from a new drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis and need to be separated from the general populace. However, I am glad to say that the similarities to TFIOS end there.
At the start of the book, Sadie is not a fan of Lane because of their experience in summer camp together years ... Read more
Review:This book was horrible. I listen to audio books daily and this is the first review I've written. If I can save one person from wasting their hard earned money on this book, I've helped. I've listened to several YA books but this is so juvenile and unrealistic, it's just sad. I listened to the whole, painful book just to write a honest review. I really don't understand how it received so many five star reviews. Buyer beware! Read more
Review:Boy21 is a a good read that turns the darkness of the reality we all live in and in some ways, our individual burdens, into a message of hope. This theme is similar to other books that Matthew Quick has written. I personally liked "A Silver Lining Playbook" and "Sorta Like a Rock Star" slightly more. A similar theme can be found in Alicia Bisset's "A Pinch of Love" My understanding is the Silver Lining Playbook will be on screen late this fall. I read more than go to movies but this one may... Review:Wow, I knew I wanted to read this book but I didn't realize just how good it was going to be until I read it. The Program was amazing to me. Everything I wanted in a dystopian, and while some of it reads similar to other dystopians out there, there is a lot that is different and fresh about this book as well and that is what drew me in and kept me reading!
Sloane and James are in love but worried about the sickness that can land them in the program. Life as a teenager in the normal worl... Read more
Review:At A Glance Review: I LOVED IT. Morgan Matson just keeps solidifying herself as one of my favorite authors. My heart wants to seize up with happiness over Since You’ve Been Gone. It was a most anticipated book for 2014 and it did NOT disappoint. If you love contemporary YA, read it and then go read her other books if you haven’t! Made my heart melt like ice cream on a hot day. Great book about friendship and finding out who YOU are at the core.

Review:Tries to engage with real issues, but stops short of actually making a statement. Suitable for teenagers who will enjoy the pretty pictures, not recommended for adults who want to read it to learn something. Read more
Review:The plot was very anticlimactic and the main character was a bit of a cliche. This book was too reminiscent of past Dessen books, but poorly executed. Same stock characters as always. Don't get me wrong, I truly love Sara Dessen's writing, but this was very lackluster, somewhat unrealistic, and led by a rather bland character. Also, the standard boy love interest didn't really make it into the story that much....you kinda forgot they had a thing. I genuinely hope that Dessen blows us away with h... Read more
Review:Exhilarating and Enjoyable! You get sucked into the book as a character yourself. "Whatever Happened to Janie?" answers all. People were dancing in joyous celebration in New Jersey for the return of a lost loved one. What had happened after Janie hung up the phone? Was it then a happily ever after story? Or did it make you feel the frustration and pain she would go through? Had the worry and fright stopped? Had the grief lost it's way through the Springs? New sorrow began as a different st...
