A compelling crime thriller (McRyan Mystery Series Book)
A compelling crime thriller (McRyan Mystery Series Book)

Review:Awesome story. I've been an avid follower of Roger Stelljes' Mac McRyan series. Every one has been a great read, but I think this one is probably the best one yet. I had a hard time putting the book down. It's such a fantastic read with so many twists and turns in this thriller. It also includes much of what's currently happening in the world. I put Stelljes and his writing right up there with Vince Flynn and John Sandford. Please keep Mac's stories coming. Already looking forward to the next o... Read more

Tom Clancy SSN
Tom Clancy SSN

Review:I loved this book. Anyone who enjoys a suspenseful military novel (Clancy) will love this. Even if you're not into the whole submarine "thing", you will love this book, I guarantee it (all opposition shall be shot on sight). There are dozens of sub-to-sub combat scenes, each a cliffhanger in itself between the SSN Cheyenne and Chinese-operated Soviet-produced subs. Even though you know that the Cheyenne is going to win everytime (if not it would make for a rather short book), this book is st... Read more

Tom Clancy's Net Force: Night Moves
Tom Clancy's Net Force: Night Moves

Review:Everybody likes to cry over how this isn't writen by Tom Clancy and blah blah blah. Right at the bottom of the title it says:

"Created by Tom Clancy and Steve Pieezenik, writen by Steve Perry"!

If you can read the book, at least read the credits before you whine so much. After that being said, this is an excellent series and I highly suggest. 4 stars, could have been 5 but a couple chapters were really really bad and kind of confusing. It's one of those rare books that even if you'... Read more

Gray Vengeance (A Tom Gray Novel Book 5)
Gray Vengeance (A Tom Gray Novel Book 5)

Review:McDermott knows how to keep you reading. I've enjoyed all four of the books and was stunned to read this was a page Turner also. So many authors have series and after the 22nd one the are slow . Not for this series I mean chapter after chapter was heart thumping drama! Way to go Tom Gray. Is this the end of "Tom Gray" ? The Bones Of Odin (Matt Drake Book 1)
The Bones Of Odin (Matt Drake Book 1)

Review:The action never slowed down, from the first chapter to the very end. Although the story could have been developed to a deeper level, it was certainly entertaining, and I plan to read Matt Drake #2 right away. Read more

The Gates of Hell (Matt Drake Book 3)
The Gates of Hell (Matt Drake Book 3)

Review:All the fighting, blow by blow. It overshadows the action of the story. Too much violence. Some of it seemed so forced. The character development is slow and floppy as well. I don't think I'm going to finish the series. Not right now anyway. Read more

Dead Girl Running (Cape Charade Book 1)
Dead Girl Running (Cape Charade Book 1)

Review:Dead Girl Running. “Kellen Adams” is the new assistant manager at the Yearning Sands Resort. Her life has been one big strange event, and is going to be even more so over the next few weeks. Kellen remembers her past, knows there are reasons for why she is where she is, except for a HUGE year-long Gap that she had no memories of.
Yearning Sands owners Annie & Max DiLucca have headed out to attend a family holiday gathering leaving Kellen in charge of the resort. Things begin to happen,... Read more

A Long Time Dead (SOCO Roger Conniston Book 1)
A Long Time Dead (SOCO Roger Conniston Book 1)

Review:Amazing! I really enjoyed reading this book. A fantastic murder investigative novel. The main character has been set up for a murder he did not commit. This book has great detail in the murder scene and fantastic forensic detail too. This book is written very well and the story very clear and easy to follow. The author carries the mystery through this novel really well. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put the book down. I really enjoyed the main character and the challenges he face... Summer House with Swimming Pool
Summer House with Swimming Pool

Review:Compulsive reading, all the more praiseworthy because the narrator is such a creepy, nasty piece of work. But that realisation doesn't hit you immediately, it grows with an alarming sense of disquiet as his voice, seemingly so reasonable, becomes more and more poisonous. Of course, some of the other guests at the villa aren't people you'd want to spend any time with either. In real life, that is. But this is Literature Land, and things are different there! Read more
