Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul
Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul

Review:One should see or read The Secret, or be familiar with Abraham-Hicks materials, or even the metaphysical before reading this book. Seth Speaks is the perfect book for those who believe in a multi-dimensional, energy driven world. It explains many facets of life, that are ignored or stuck in the category of hallucinations. Certainly it is a different slant on "eternal life." It gives new meaning to the dream state. Read more

Open Heart
Open Heart

Review:He may be a fine writer , but the way he described going Into open heart surgery did not ring true. I lived thru a life or death surgery, and believe me, there was no dreaming under anesthesia. Further, the Ellegy about our lost common ancestors was heartfelt, but seemed meaningless in light of the "self" that takes over in a situation like this. He makes his survival a homage to our dead relatives, instead of to his doctors. Please dr. Wiesel, give science it's due. Read more

The Art of Living: Vipassana Meditation

Review:I wrongly thought this book teaches the techniques and ended up fascinated about the many things one is supposed to know before kicking off. Really enjoyed to learn precisely what Buddha discovered which was set apart from the common religious thoughts of his times. Read more

In a Dark Place (Ed & Lorraine Warren)

Review:This book is "Outstanding" and don't read it at night while you are home alone...it stays with you long after the book is ended....You'll never be able to walk in any part of your house or be on a computer late at night without looking over your shoulder or feel that you are being watched....I know this book is hard to come-by but I will never sell mine...I wanted it for my home library collection...but if you can get your hands on a copy...it is a great read. The Authoritative History of the War for the Holy Land
The Authoritative History of the War for the Holy Land

Review:Long but good review of the crusade era that seems to be used by some to make legitimate the anger of some Muslum groups toward Western civilization of today. It also explains how the concept of jihad developed and was revived to become a major movement by radical Muslums today. Read more

The Case Against God (The Skeptic's Bookshelf)
The Case Against God (The Skeptic's Bookshelf)

Review:This book undermines extreme religious fundamentalism, and in doing so, Smith has an easy ride. It deserves 5 stars because Smith makes such a strong and worthy case against the narrow and intolerant attitudes and perspectives of fundamentalism. Yet undermining extreme fundamentalism and Biblical literalism, is by no mean the same as undermining the deeper Spirit and message of Christianity.
Smith comes nowhere near achieving this, and as it happens, Smith's perspective, attitudes and tone ar... Read more
