Review:I have been a fly tyer and fly fisherman for 60 years. One book that I could relate too.Fly tying can become an addiction. For me,it helped to pay tuition for an undergraduate degree in Biology ,as well as ,a graduate degree in Medical Microbiology.I was from the old school, where you tied flies that were used to catch fish, either fresh or saltwater.I tried tying Salmon flies, but lacked skill and patience.I cranked out 12 dozen at one sitting, not 1 fly in 3 months. The book let me see the seedy sid... I'm Going to Sneeze! - Said the Elephant

Review:Im 19 right now... But I remember my mother reading this story to me and my older sister ever since I was about 4 years old. We had the story up until a couple years ago. Then my little brother got a hold of it and tore it up. So now I am buying a new one. This story is so funny. I recommend this to all children and parents. Read more

The Black Stallion
The Black Stallion

Review:MY all time favorite as a kid's book! Read it in about 4th grade, got hooked on all of Farley's books and this was by far my favorite.

I had to buy each book with my own allowance money, which might tell you how much I loved them! Read more

The Good Dinosaur (Read-Along Storybook and CD)
The Good Dinosaur (Read-Along Storybook and CD)

Review:This is a great story - my son loved the movie and we got him this book for one of his Christmas gifts and he couldn't care less about anything else but this book. He asks me all the time to turn on the CD as he sits there and listens while turning the page. Great illustrations and audio. Read more

Good Night, Gorilla
Good Night, Gorilla

Review:This is a delightful book. The illustrations are eye pleasing. There are little unique characters with each page for children to pick out. It is my favorite story to read to my granddaughter. She loves this book. Read more

The Rainbow Fish
The Rainbow Fish

Review:As a teacher of two-year-olds, I could not be happier with this book. The Big Book style keeps the children entralled while I "read" the book. Meaning that even though their attention spans can't handle hearing the story word-for-word, they listen as I edit the story in my own way. And by the time the four-year-olds see it, they are listening to every word of this precious story. And at the price it is offered here, even I could afford to add it to my collection. Read more

A Tale of a Peddler Some Monkeys and Their Monkey Business
A Tale of a Peddler Some Monkeys and Their Monkey Business

Review:This classic never fails to be a great read. My 7 and 5 year old grandsons were entranced--at the concept of a man walking around selling hats that he carried on his head, the story line and the ending. We're waiting until their new baby sister is old enough to hear it too. Read more

Blueberries for Sal
Blueberries for Sal

Review:My almost 3 year old really likes this book, and always asks for blueberries after we read it. It is fun to read, not too short/simple but also not too long. I actually did not get the CD so cannot comment on that. Read more

Little Bear (An I Can Read Book)
Little Bear (An I Can Read Book)

Review:I really liked another book in the same series, so I purchased this book. This story is just weird. It's about how a kiss is supposed to get from grandma bear to Little Bear, but somehow gets lost along the way. The premise is fine, but the development of the story is odd. Read more

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

Review:This was one of my favorite books as a kid. We recently bought this for our friends who have a 2 1/2 year old and are expecting a new baby. The little girl loves it and so do Mom and Dad. The book is long enough to keep the interest of the child, yet short enough that Mom and Dad can read it daily if the little girl wants. We also have a copy for our little girl. Great book for all kiddos. Read more
