I'd Really Like to Eat a Child
I'd Really Like to Eat a Child

Review:I bought this book for my five year old nephew for Christmas! He loves it, as does his sister. It has a bit of dark humor, but it reminds kids to eat healthy so they have the strength and energy to do what they want. Read more

Good Dog, Carl : A Classic Board Book
Good Dog, Carl : A Classic Board Book

Review:"Good Dog Carl" was THE favorite book for both my children when young and to give to a newborn or as baby shower gift. As my girls started to talk they "read" me the story and their rendition of Carl and baby's shenanigans. It was the best loved and best worn book in our extensive library. And parents who I've gifted the book to always thank me as their children grow with it. LOVE this book. So happy it's still available to gift. Read more

Review:I will always have a great memory of this book. This was my toddler's favorite in daycare so we got it for his birthday. The first day he had it he fell asleep with the book opened to the last page (chirp chirp) and his arm around it.
Now his brother likes it, but not nearly as much. Read more

Martin the Warrior: A Tale from Redwall
Martin the Warrior: A Tale from Redwall

Review:This is a great Redwall book! The only bad part is when characters die... Should I tell you guys?

Shiloh (The Shiloh Quartet)
Shiloh (The Shiloh Quartet)

Review:I have been thinking about writing for middle grade kids myself, so I thought I would read some works by various authors. I selected this one because I like dogs myself. Oh boy, did I luck out! This is a great book for any age to read, but it's particularly a fine book for a middle grade child. The psychological realism the author offers her readers is astounding. Any child who reads this book will not only have a fine time between the pages but will also learn something about people in the proc... Read more

The Secret Life of Pets Little Golden Book (Secret Life of Pets)

Review:I was hoping this would be based on the storyline of the movie. Instead it is only a description of each character...and last page is Katie bringing Duke home, nothing more about Duke or the the story. Disappointed. Read more

Bark, George
Bark, George

Review:This is my granddaughter's favorite library book and she brought it to my house to show it to me. I always encourage her to read so I ordered her a copy. When I gave it to her, we sat in the floor and she read it to me. I found it a very funny story and an amazing concept. This is a book that I think she will keep and pass on to her children. The Cricket in Times Square (Chester Cricket and His Friends)
The Cricket in Times Square (Chester Cricket and His Friends)

Review:I read a book named 'The Cricket in Times Square' and I really liked it.

The reason why I liked it is because it gave us lessons about friend ship

and loyalty. I liked how the author showed the friend ship between Chester,

Tucker, and Harry. They tried to help their friends even though they look different.

I wish I had friends who are friendly and kind.I should try to be a person

who can help my friends as well.I think this author gave me a big lesson.
