Science Studies
Review:This book is the perfect guide for anyone wanting to introduce children to fun science experiments. My 3 year old daughter loves this book. So far her favorite one was the "Rock Candy" experiment. She loved checking on them daily, and of course getting to eat it at the end. This book has really easy to follow directs and awesome pictures. I also like that a lot of the ingredients are items you can already find in your house. I highly recommend this wonderful book. Review:My nephew loved this books, he told me" thank you Auntie Akeshia for the magic books". I only wish that the Author is in the works of creating more so I can start a collection for my nieces and nephews. Read more
Review:This book is really well-written, but I bought it for my 9 year old son who loves Coyote Peterson's YouTube channel and it's not something he can easily read alone. It's probably written more toward maybe a 12 year old's capabilities, but again--very well written and great animal adventures. Read more
Review:My nephew is obsessed with "trash trucks" so this book was absolutely perfect for him. Though he can't read, he can recite the whole book to me because he memorized it based on the pages and he's only 2 1/2! Kate McMullan is a great author especially for boys! Read more
Review:Some of the content provides examples that I would not want to pass on to any child. Here's just one example of the main character worm's narrative: "My older sister thinks she's so pretty. Review:This book has been helpful in starting my worm bin! Great pictures of examples, great information. The author has been composting with worms for over 30 years so she brings a lot of valuable information. Read more
Review:LOVE LOVE LOVE Sabuda's books - my only caution is that you give them to a child when they are a little older and can take care of the lovely cut out pages that pop up - they are all very detailed and are a genuine keepsake for a home library. Best to have mom around when viewing if under 10.
Great resource - try the America The Beautiful as well! Read more
Review:I love Potter's universe and Rowling's writing. I personally am having a time with reading a screenplay. I will enjoy the book when its released. The story is as always great fun, just the screenplay style is not my preference. Read more
Review:Absolutely beautiful photography! Great for any age. I've bought this book many times for children but I've also bought a copy for myself. The pictures tell the whole story without having to read a word. Read more
Review:I really like the book because it has some interesting twists that keeps my son engaged. It's a fun story to read and talk about together. I like the storyline and the amount of text on each page keeps my 2-year old engaged. The only reason why I didn't give the book 5-starts is because of the characters in the book - I think they could have been made much cooler. Read more
