Roaring Rockets (Amazing Machines)

I really like the book because it has some interesting twists that keeps my son engaged. It's a fun story to read and talk about together. I like the storyline and the amount of text on each page keeps my 2-year old engaged. The only reason why I didn't give the book 5-starts is because of the characters in the book - I think they could have been made much cooler.

This story is very cute and I love the educational aspects of it - my nephew has enjoyed reading it over and over. Unfortunately, while the library binding makes it a bit more durable, it also was done in a way that cuts of some pictures and cuts very close to some text.

Good, quick book. One other reviewer mentioned it contained something scientifically inaccurate about gravity boots and another that the rhyming structure was a bit off, I didn't find that in this version. I suspect they may have revised some of the text in the past couple of years given it seems this book has had multiple printings. It's no Shakespeare, but if you have a 2-3 year old with a passion for rockets, this fits the bill and holds up scientifically.
