Review:I was a little hesitant to read a children's book about a robot stranded on an island to my daughters, but this one has a ton of heart and enough characters and situations to be very entertaining. This robot happens to have human feelings that is more expressed in actions that we all can understand, whether it's deep sadness to being excited and everything in between. Peter Brown somehow makes it all believable and a very touching story of compassion, love and how every parent feels when their... Read more
Review:We bought this for our 7 year old granddaughter. She is a good reader and very smart but does not really like to sit and read whole stories. This beautifully illustrated book is just right--find a subject and turn to that page and all kinds of interesting facts are there to read and talk about. We learn something every time we read from the book. Read more
Review:There were several times that I wanted to stop reading this book. It seemed like it was constant torture and pain which got a little old. Toward the middle of the book I did get hooked and wanted to see how it ended, when the main character started fighting back. Lots of twist and turns an ok book. Read more
Review:The cover of the book is printed out backwards so that when you open the book you are at the end and the text is upside down. Since this is a Dr. Seuss book I read it to make sure that it wasn't supposed to be this way (it's not). Anyway, the book looks fun but the printing is flawed. Read more
Review:Just received this today. I had read the book, but wanted a refresher for a discussion of it next week. This book is incredibly poorly written. Grammar, punctuation errors, sentence fragments and sentences worded so poorly I just put the book down.
Get a copy of Vance's Ted Talk and read the book. Never heard of BriskReads, but barely made it through 40 pages. DON"T waste your money! Read more
Review:Kids have LOVED this book in play therapy sessions!! They’ve enjoyed the different endings. Even if they know the best answer, they’ve had fun experimenting with what happens when they choose not to do the right thing. Great bibliotherapy!! Read more
Review:Wonderful addition to our Harry Potter Home Library. Such a delight to glance into the beginning of JK Rowlings' original thoughts, ideas, drafts and pen and ink drawings. Really appreciate all of her creativity, research and devotion. Read more
Review:Una vez mas, Suzanne Collins te atrapa desde el principio. Aunque no es el mejor de los tres libros, es un puente fundamental para la tercera entrega de esta trilogía que, sin lugar a dudas, será inolvidable. Read more
Review:Muy bueno los tres libros, real y ficción, intensa y recomendable 100%. Suspenso, acción, ficción, terror. Una excelente combinación q logra atraer la curiosidad de saber el final, el cual es inesperado. #deluxe Read more
Review:Cute book, had one for my kids now grown and moved away. One of them requested to 'borrow' it for a relative's nephew having some issues with training. But after looking through it again, I decided I want to keep it (someday we should have grand kids, yes?), so ordered a new one. It was well received by the little one (boy) it was purchased for.
