Kids have LOVED this book in play therapy sessions!! They’ve enjoyed the different endings. Even if they know the best answer, they’ve had fun experimenting with what happens when they choose not to do the right thing. Great bibliotherapy!!

My 4 year old son LOVES this book! It uses real, everyday life scenarios and whenever my son begins to have a tantrum I refer back to this book to help him make the right choice. It helps a lot sometimes

Loved this book!!! We had so much fun fgoung through all the different outcomes. Rally supports the concept of cause and effect for kids an th power of proper decision making. My kids eventually just took over reading to themselves. Fabulous, developmental and imaginative. Can't wait for next book to come.

Beautiful and captivating colors! Kids (and adults) love choosing their own outcomes of the story and learning valuable lessons. Really enjoyed this book and all the lessons it has to teach children!

Great book introducing children to different outcomes based on different choices. Did not like cover material - it felt sticky/weird lowering book quality. I would not have bought it if I had picked it up first.

I bought this because the kids usually love the choose your own ending books. First of all, all the situations were about a boy and his younger brother, limiting its audience appeal. More importantly, the format was very confusing to read, and we just gave up and gave it away

Once in a while a really unique and worthy book for children is being published. "What sould Danny do" is one of those books. I highly recommend this brilliant yet fun book to every parent, grandparent or teacher who is morally and ethically conscious and would like to encourage children to make wise and moral choices in life. This book facilitates awareness in young children as far as understanding the outcome of their descisions and actions. Reading this book and exploring the different options with your children or letting them explore it independently is a great way of giving our children the gift of learning cause and effect in life. The fact that the children need to think as they read and actively make decisions is a very effective way of learning. If you are interested in building moral, decisive and resilient children/future adults - this book is for you.

Wow!!!! finally a book that my son was excited to read!! My son was fascinated by the illustrations . He loved the fact that he can choose what Danny should do. Most of the times he knew the right thing to do but he liked to try the other choices just to see the consequences. Im sure that a book like this will teach him how to make great choices in life.
It was so much fun to read it with my son. We both had quality time together and it opened for us conversation about our own personal choices that we take in life.
I loved the idea of the book! genius!!! well written !!

Wonderful book. I bought it for my first grade class, and they absolutely love that they get to make the choices, and I like that consequences are attached to the choices immediately. I would recommend it for anyone who has young children in their care.
Also, the people who wrote the book sent me a thank you note with some free goodies. I contacted them, with a question, and heard from them immediately. This purchase has been one of my best the store buys.

Backstory: We were sooo good about reading every single night with our first two boys when they were preK-3rd graders, but sadly life has gotten increasingly busy as our family has grown up and our now 1st grader has not received the same attention in the nighttime reading dept. Our solution this week has been THIS book.
It’s seriously been a game changer. The story follows Danny, a young boy and aspiring super hero as he faces different daily struggles and learns to make choices instead of just reacting to whatever happens to him. You get to help him choose what to do and then see the consequences of each choice. There are a bunch of different moments where you make a decision for him which means it can be read over and over again and follow several different storylines. The first time through my son made all the “correct” choices and Danny had a great day. The second night he decided to have Danny stomp on his brother’s foot and things didn’t turn out quite as happy:)
Even my older kids have shown interest as we have read it the past few nights. Holy cow this is a long review! Almost done. ?
Maybe the best thing about it for me is that it’s like the authors have been watching us via security camera or something. The issues Danny deals with are OUR issues (ie what should Danny do when his little brother teases him and refuses to let him share the things he’s playing with?). Since the older boys have been around listening to us read it, we’ve really had some good chats about how no matter what happens to us, we always get to choose how to react. That concept is a HUUUGE part of what can bring us happiness in this life! Highly recommend that anyone with elementary-aged kids check it out. Thanks for creating something awesome that has made a positive impact on our family!

I have seen this book for a while now. Also, I have heard a lot of great reviews about it but I was really curious for myself to see if my son would like it.
At first, it took a little bit for him to get familiar with the format but now he asked to read it more more than once a night to see how the story will end. So far, we have only gotten to 3 of the possible 9 endings.
He really likes to see how the story will end if he makes a good choice and also if he makes the wrong choice. It is a very clear and practical way for kids to see how the decisions they make, good or bad, can shape their days. Also, and it shows how it feels so much better in the end to make a better choice. It also shows how your day went and if you make wrong choices.
He has been struggling with a certain behavior which results in a loss of screen time for him and absolute frustration on my part. I was able to use the book as a reference point today. He understood clearly when I told him he needed to make a better decision. I was really proud of him because he did make a better decision and he was proud of himself.
I highly recommend this book!

As a mom of 3 kids, I’ve read a bajillion children’s books. I’ve always felt that most of them are missed opportunities to teach, through written word and art, how our growing kids can adapt and deal with life’s real and daily challenges. Finally, I find a book that hits the mark right on the head. The authors do a superb job of balancing fun and engaging writing with thought provoking and conversation-starting concepts. Outstanding illustrations, with beautiful details fill every page. What’s best is that my kids find themselves in the exact same conundrums on a daily basis - and this book gives them the tools to empower themselves toward making positive choices. (While also reminding them of the consequences of making negative ones...) Brilliant concept, well executed and beautifully packaged. I hope this quickly becomes a series so that the books grow with my kids.

My students love, love, love this amazing book so much that I just purchased one for each of them. The authors of this book are two of the most wonderful individuals on this planet. I recently met them in real life at the Happy Go Teach conference in Southern California and they are so inspirational. I cannot wait to see there next book and so on. I loved choose your own adventure books when I was a child and this picture book is a classroom must-have. My students love seeing what happens when you make good choices. Danny is such a great character and my kiddos relate to his dilemmas and choices. Thank you Ganit and Adir for an incredible tool to use in my third grade classroom.

We got this book as a gift and my sons (3 & 5) LOVE reading it. It provides such a positive message about how every choice they make has a negative or positive consequence, and that they can set the tone for their day if they make good choices for themselves and interact kindly with others. It’s a fun read—my kids want to make all bad choices for Danny so they can watch him throw fits and lose privileges. We turn it into an opportunity to reinforce the story’s message and importance of making good decisions. We’ll be buying more copies for friends, and we’d love to see more stories like this from the authors.

My students loved this book! We loved all of the different options that my students could choose. This really allowed them to see that there are rewards and consequences to the choices we make. This is something that my group last year really struggled with and this book really helped. As a teacher, I loved it because it reminded me of the "Choose your own adventure" books I loved so much growing up!

I am a school counselor and I read this book to my 1st graders - they absolutely loved it!! I used to love the "choose-your-own-adventure" books as a kid, so this has been fun to share with my students while also talking about how our actions create a ripple effect on our day. We continued to use the language "power to choose" and talked about situations at school where we have choices and how they all create a consequence - either positive or negative. Highly recommend this book to any parent or teacher!

Some of the consequences seemed extreme but the information is presented in a way that hopefully makes the kids pause a moment. Reading both ways about how much choice they have in how their days goes was a neat way to present the information! My 4 kids 6-13 all enjoyed listening to it (partly because it's silly to point out the wrong chouce) but I believe they'll all benefit!

A book you must have! I bought this book from the authors months ago to use in my classroom. In such a creative format, kids learn about consequences for our actions and how when we make certain choices, we can turn around our day, or miss opportunities. My students loved choosing different scenarios and after I read every version to them as a class, they all want to read and re-read on their own. I bought several as gifts. Great for a classroom or a private collection, will be sharing it with my grandsons.

Finally! As a school librarian for over 8 years, I found this to be an incredible book that involves the child reader and teaches about the consequences of decision making! I highly enjoyed reading this, and wanted to read it over and over again. I highly recommend this book to anyone with children; especially when siblings are involved!

The world needs to know about this book!!! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars! It has such a powerful message- that you control the outcome of your day/life based on the day to day decisions you make. I wish I had a book like this when I was young. My kids went to bed (even though they wanted to hear more stories) and I still sat there reading it. ?

My son and I love this book, it is so inventive and different from the normal stories. I love the choices and my son really likes being able to go back and make a better choice. It really has made it easier to talk about these different situations and what happens when you make bad choices. Worth every penny! We love love love it!

My students all LOVE it!!! They beg for it everyday and love being active participants in the book! They quickly learned that if their choices for Danny had an affect on his day than so too must their own choices in life. Wonderfully written and such beautiful illustrations. I really hope to see more books like this!

The real Danny was sin my class this past year. His aunt wrote the book based on the antics of Danny! Our book included stickers and a poster for the classroom. My students loved Danny’s Adventures and couldn’t wait to see what he would be up to next! I’m going to miss having Danny in my class next year, but his aunt’sbook will always live on!

Just recieved our copy the other day and my two daughters (ages 3 and 6) haven’t stopped looking through it and asking for me to read it to them! It’s the perfect amount of entertainment and life lessons that are so applicable to my kids at this age! It’s a choose your own adventure book with lessons about how each choice can affect your day! Each story within the story is so well written, my girls have gone back and reread them over and over again. The authors are also very present on instagram (@whatshoulddannydo) and have been so gracious of my high praise! I hope there’s more to come from them! ??

I'm a first grade teacher and personally believe this is a "must have" book in the classroom. My students BEGGED me to read this! Not only did this book allow me to model fluency and expression, but it also nurtured their social-emotional development. I frequently asked my students "What would Danny do?"

Both our 2 year old and 6 year old love this book! Our daughter learns so much from the detailed illustrations, and our son (who highly relates to the main character) now understands that there are consequences for our daily choices. The stories incorporate a range of common childhood struggles, making children aware of their own emotional intelligence. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to teach their children about the importance of positive choices.

My boys asked for this book every night the week we got it. They loved to see what would happen if they chose a different response for what Danny should do in each scenario. The book is especially attractive to young boys.

I absolutely love this book!! I bought it for my Kindergarten class and it was their favorite! We loved being able to see how our choices can change our day. Such a great (and fun) lesson on using our power to choose wisely. The book was so engaging and enjoyable for my kids. Even after we had read every scenerio in the book, they still asked me fo read it. I can’t say enough great things.

My 6 year old son loves the “What should Danny do?” book.
In that very moment when he chooses which page to turn to, he experience the moment between thought and action, that filtering space, the space which directs which way things will go, the inner compass gets activated. This educational and interactive book is a must for anyone looking to raise self aware and responsible people.

I recently read this book to my kids. They really loved the story and the concept of taking responsibility for the consequences of their own actions. We ended up reading it several more times, in part to try out every possible pathway in this modern twist on a choose-your-own-adventure story. I highly recommend this book to other parents of young kids.

My daughter loved the book so much that she wrote to the authors thanking them for creating the book. We had so much fun reaching the different endings with different choices (good and bad). It shows kids that every decision we make has consequences. We recommend this entertaining book and can't wait for another release!

What an AMAZING book! I was so happy I found this gem. It's unlike any children's book we've read. It has 9 different endings, depending on the path you help Danny choose. It's a great way to show kids that their choices have a direct impact on their every day lives. It was a breath of fresh air. Fun to read, beautiful illustrations and a great message. 10/10
