Review:I bought this book to help me learn French and it's working surprisingly well. I write the translation above each line so I can quickly refer to it as I read through. I highly recommend this method for anyone interested in learning French. It's a lot of fun and you pick it up pretty fast. :D Read more
Review:This is certainly an interesting story and a poignant look at the way mass hysteria can shape a culture. Though it was written during the Communist witch hunt in America and written about Puritan times, it certainly can be applied to modern times. It’s interesting to read through this and see that though the times may change, humans are rather unchangeable. Read more
Review:I purchased this book for my children so they can learn the language. They are really enjoying it and learning it fast because we have the English version. I think it would be a great start for adults who want to learn Spanish. Read more
Review:Illustrations left a lot to be desired, even with it being a baby book. With the explanation of atoms, neutrons, and protons, he uses the same illustrations, and instead of pointing out what each one is, he only matches the color of the word to the color of it in the drawing. Was just left disappointed all in all, and sent it back, along with the two others we purchased from this author. Great idea, subpar execution. (And it cost me about the price of one of the three books to send them back!!... Read more

Review:This was the first time I ever heard of an underground hidden community in the woods where resisters and jews lived during WW2. It was compelling reading, and though it was a fictitious story, it represented what the people did endure as the years passed and they were forced to leave their families and hide away during the day in underground huts, coming out at night. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in history or the WW2 period. Read more
Review:How can anyone who lived through the Second World War not be moved by this remarkable account of survival by a young Jewish boy in Poland. The write up in the ( i ) didn't do it justice. That's why I bought the book. Read more
Review:I loved this book, because it tells of a young girls struggle against the most evil power the world has ever known. When I read the book, my mind was there suffering with the millions who were caught up in the madness of that day, all because they were Jewish.
The world must never, never forget this horrible time in history. Read more
Review:This is a beautiful atlas, and my 3 year old is obsessed with it. However, Mexico and the Central America countries are just glossed over on the broad North America page. Would have been nice to have a page on the Mexican states and one close up of the Central American countries. There is a page that shows the states/territories of Australia, but as another review mentioned New Zeeland and Oceania are missing as well. Read more
