Review:Love this book! My 3-year-old granddaughter listened and watched as I read it to her. She then said, "My turn," and read it to me. She made up words and sounds while running her finger under the words, the same way I did it. She copied my gestures and my tone, even showing excitement on certain pages. She gave her stuffed Mickey Mouse a turn to read it, then returned to me and listened to the whole story again. Days later, she read it to her daddy.

Review:We are using this to prevent summer slide. I ask my daughter to do two pages a day and offer a reward (we use a marble jar) for completing additional pages. I also focus more on doing it independently than making sure it is correct. She often does more than two pages voluntarily and the directions/activities are simple enough that she can work independently (for the most part). Read more

Review:This book is great for the early learner. My Daughter has Down syndrome and she loves something that has bright colors. This book keeps her interest and she is practicing her words everyday. I purchased this book and 100 words Kids need to know by 1st grade, at the same time. They are thin books, not too much detail, but I like that on the back cover and the inside cover, they printed the entire 100 word list. Read more
