Sight Word Practice to Build Strong Readers - 100 Words Kids Need To Read By 2nd Grade

This book is great for the early learner. My Daughter has Down syndrome and she loves something that has bright colors. This book keeps her interest and she is practicing her words everyday. I purchased this book and 100 words Kids need to know by 1st grade, at the same time. They are thin books, not too much detail, but I like that on the back cover and the inside cover, they printed the entire 100 word list.

I got this for a struggling student...the spaces are too small to write in and the reading level is higher than the grade...for example 100 words to read by third grade is written at a third grade level. If this is practice to get ready for 3rd grade it should written at a mid to end second grade...not mid third grade.

My daughter enjoys working in this workbook. She is in the first grade and I wanted to challenge her with a second grade lesson. She's enjoying all of the activities included in this book!!!! Great purchase for those who would like to challenge their children!

Wow I really like the way this company created the information in this book. My daughter can learn all of her sight words and create the perfect sentences using the strategies within this book along with the other book I ordered 100 Words Kids need to Read by 1st Grade: Sight Word Practice...... She is in first grade so I am preparing her for the next grade, this is great!!!!

My childrens' teacher used parts from the Grade 1 and Grade 2 versions last year. I liked the material, so I purchased Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 to continue using with my children. I plan to use them for review over the summer.
