Review:Full of grammatical errors and whole paragraphs repeated, which made it annoying to read. The so-called questions for a book club look like a quiz for high-school freshmen to prove they had read the book; the questions had nothing to do with any issues worth discussing, which is what a book club is about. This summary was definitely not worth one cent. Book Sense, if you are going to publish summaries, at least use spell-check, stop padding the book out by repeating whole sections of text, and a... Review:I bought this book for an Engligh Literature class, it is very bulky, but contains so much there is no other way they could cram so much into anything any smaller! This book remains on my desk, and always will. Read more
Review:Wow... I am the first person to review this great book. Being a huge fan of wilwheaton.com I wasn't sure what the appeal would be of buying this book since everything in it had already been on the net. I don't know why but there is just something different when your reading it on paper than on the internet. Wil Wheaton does a great job telling these five short stories from his life. You will go from feeling sad when he talks about his aunt, to laughing out loud when he talks about his star trek ... Read more
Review:Totalitarianism. It’s not a concept that we are very familiar with; those of us who have been born free. The sludge of fear, every decision weighed not against what is good and just and right, but instead against what the ‘powers’ will think; the battle to deny self but not lose your spirit in the process – tiny acts of rebellion unidentifiable to the minders but nevertheless something that is your own, a fake accent or a carefully planned ‘accident’; not sabotage but just orchestrated carelessn... Review:Wonderful. I've come across multiple Poe collections before and usually something is edited out of them, and stories would be missing. This is a great, complete book. Dark and mysterious, with great sense of humour, and always my favourite. Read more
Review:This was pretty good, not great, but worth reading. It has lots of ideas about how we could live better lives without being to overtly preachy, but it is preachy. It's an interesting take on ecology and what would be the best way to live. There were many good ideas, and the love story was a good addition, but not all that compelling. It was more about social change and interactions than personal interactions. Read more

For the price it is hard to beat and is a quick overview of the great and near great America poets, Myself I love the works of Dickinson and Poe, but I was surprised finding... Read more
Review:I really loved the first half of this book. SPOILER ALERT..............the first half is written from the side of the man and I thought it was interesting. Just as you know what is going to happen they switch and tell the whole thing over from the woman's perspective. I was already invested in the story and knew what had happened so it was like immediately rewatching a movie you just saw. I was a bit bored and my mind wandered as the woman talked about a lot of art stuff and her snooty frien... Read more
