Review:While never asking me to reflect on my own happiness, Wiener caused me to do so. And that simple act made me happier. With much humor and sincere curiosity he explored an elusive topic and what he discovered rang very true for me. Read more
Review:I bought this for my husband for a birthday gift, and we have already spent hours reading and looking through this amazing coffee table book. The pictures are incredible, the journeys look great, and it is fun to see where we've been and where we want to go. Read more
Review:This book has some nice pictures. However, many of the places shown are locations most Americans will never get to drive through. If you just want to look at pictures, this book is nice. If you want to find fun drives that you can actually do, there is not many here. Read more
Review:Excellent tips for saving money while traveling around the world, somewhat slanted toward the younger traveler. Many of the tips are applicable to any age group, fortunately, but a lot of the advice about lodging and saving money on food seem more useful to the younger crowd, or at least a more agile and adventurous crowd than this early 70's-age reviewer. I'd like to see a companion volume written on the topic for senior citizens! The book is well-written, and clearly Matt has experienced al... Read more
Review:Oscar Wilde must have been quite the character in his day. This play about mistaken identity is not only laugh out loud funny but cutting at the same time. He skewers the upper class with his observations about their behaviour. No wonder it has been done in countless theaters over the years and been made into at least one film that I can think of. Review:I almost gave it four stars because Sharyl Attkisson should have included things like the media's coverage of 9/11 (and the evidence that refutes the conclusions shared by the media), but there are so many important things in this book nonetheless that it must be shared so I gave it five stars anyway. It truly is exceptional, and as no book is truly worth five stars, this is my biggest endorsement. Read more
Review:Mary Karr puts her considerable experience teaching, writing, and reading memoir to good work in this compelling, readable, and idiosyncratic how-to book. I liked Lit, didn't love it, and I've had some starts and stops while reading Liar's Club -- in spots it just feels like she's trying too hard and the pace is still too slow. Yet this book glides along at a swift clip; it's a fun, often entrancing read. She's a careful, clear writer. At times I feel like she's trying too hard in this book too,... Read more

Review:The book came really fast! I loved the delivery speed. The book itself has some great prompts and at a great price. The only thing I was worried about with the package it came in. It was torn so wide the book could of fell out. Other than that, it was good. Read more
